Sarac is the only specialist sexual abuse and rape advice Centre covering the area of East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire having served the area for 30 years. We aim to help all those affected by offering a confidential service that aims to relieve mental distress through advice and counselling assistance. Anyone, who is 11 years plus can refer to SARAC.

Our aims and objectives are to provide for the relief of women and their children who have been physically, sexually and emotionally and/or mentally abuse within an intimate or family relationship throughout the United Kingdom. Also, to advance public and professional education and understanding of the issues of domestic violence/abuse throughout the United Kingdom.

CEASE UK's activities are all centred on educating the general public and decision makers about sexual exploitation: in particular, the links between different forms, and how the commercial sex industry, hypersexualisation and the underlying cultural norms drive sexual abuse and exacerbate vulnerability.

Home-Start offers volunteer support to families in their own homes, parents supporting parents, helping them to get through a difficult time in their lives: loneliness, isolation, post-natal illness, domestic violence, poverty, inadequate housing, disability, family breakdown.

Dance United Yorkshire advocates the use of dance as a powerful tool for personal and social development. Ahimsa is a local voluntary-sector initiative, providing specialist help and intervention programmes to perpetrators of domestic violence and linked support services for their partners/victims. Ahimsa is approved by the Department for Justice as a provider of domestic violence perpetrator programmes to the Family Courts, and is fully accredited by RESPECT.

The Objects of the CIO are the relief of the physical and mental distress of persons in needby reason of suffering from child sexual abuse/adult rape and by the provision of counsellingand support for such persons.

ReVive International supports the work of a Brazilian NGO called 'ReaViva'. They work with young girls who have been forced into prostitution, have suffered from physical or sexual abuse or who find themselves in situations of sexual exploitation. ReVive is currently supporting their home for young girls and their other charitable activities.

We support Asian mothers who are fleeing domestic abuse. Our services enable women to gain support and understanding within a safe and confidential environment. We provide advocacy, guidance, emotional support, workshops, social activities, referrals and signposting. We currently employ 6 paid members of staff.

Arms Around The Child is dedicated to children living in adversity, providing homes, medical care & treatment, education, protection, respect, love & support services to children who are orphaned, sexually abused, affected by HIV/AIDS, abandoned, trafficked or living in parentless households in Ghana, SA & India. JSAS trading as Migdal Emunah was launched in February 2013, as a support service for child and adult victims of sexual abuse and violence within the Jewish community. We provide free independent support to anyone in the community with concerns or disclosures of sexual abuse and violence. We provide workshops and training for professionals and parents to help prevent further sexual abuse.

Severn Angels Housing & Support provides safe, women-only accommodation for women at risk of homelessness, including victims of domestic abuse, refugees, care leavers, and other vulnerable groups. We offer comprehensive support services, including domestic violence assistance.
