Lodge Benevolent Fund makes grants to individuals and organisations.

Provides financial assistance to players, officials, referees and their dependants who are in financial need due to injury or illness

To raise funds to enable payments to be made to eligible persons who require financial assistance.

TO ASSIST MASONS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN TIMES HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS

Apply capital and income for the benefit of the poor and needy or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.

To help employees or ex-employees of the Club (whether servants or members of the clerical staff) who are found to be in need at any time, and their widows,children or other dependants, likewise in need, by means of charitable grants in money or kind paid from the Fund in accordance with the Regulations.

Provision of financial support to deserving cases of ex servicemen

The Charity raises money from Deeds of Covenant and Charity collections at Masonic meetings. The trustees disperse the funds to Masonic Charities, Non-Masonic Charities and individuals in need.

Donations largely received from The Festive Board, or as a result of a Master's Party

The ARNO Charitable Trust has a single Corporate Trustee, the Royal Naval Benevolent Society for Officers, which provides financial support to serving and retired officers of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, QARNNS, WRNS, their Reserves, spouses, former spouses, families and dependents who are in financial distress.
