The charity's aim is to help relieve poverty, suffering and distress and prevent disease among the people of the world; and to promote Christian education and evangelism. The grants made by the charity in this annual period reflect these objectives, in particular the promotion of Christian education and evangelism.

The charity provides assistance and support to members and retired members, including their partners and dependent family, who are in need and/or hardship and/or distress. Membership is open to Sussex police officers, staff, special constables and volunteers.

The Churches of the West Bolton PCC support the communities of West Bolton through Christian Worship, social action for the alleviation of poverty, and projects to improve the lives of all in the communities it serves, including community cohesion.

OUR ACTIVITIES IN AND AROUND THE AREA OF VRINDAVAN IN INDIA INCLUDE EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENTAL CARE INCLUDING TREE PLANTING AND EDUCATION ABOUT OUR DEPENDANCE ON THE ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH CARE, FEEDING THE POOR, DRINKING WATER PROJECTS, SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS INCLUDING MICRO CREDIT SCHEMES AND, THE CARE OF COWS.

We have rented a building where socially or economically disadvantaged people are meeting for regular cultural and recreational activities. We also organised BBQs and Day Trips for the community to help economically disadvantaged people in gaining confidence and self esteem

THE CHARITY'S OBJECTIVES ARE:THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION WORLDWIDE AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY.IT PURSUES THESE OBJECTS BY THE OPERATION OF A CENTRE FOR CHRISTIAN WORSHIP AT ITS PREMISES.

The advancement of the Islamic faith and the relief of poverty, i.e. by offering help to widows and widowers, the elderly, the disabled, the unemployed and the under-privileged generally in whatever way possible, and by helping to arrange and attend the burial of any deceased members and to assist the bereaved generally.

The charity befriends, supports and restores vulnerable women by:running weekly Mothers and Toddlers groups;working with disadvantaged children, mostly from single parent families;supplying new mothers with care packages; andproviding support in several other practical areas.

Sound Progression is a Cardiff based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of young people, particularly those aged between 10 and 21 years and from disadvantaged and diverse backgrounds. We promote positive expression, empowerment and confidence building through participant-led music projects and training programmes.
