The activities of the Charity include;1. Advancement of Christian faith worldwide, and2. Relief of poverty.

Vineyard Chapel provides the advancement of the Christian faith worldwide in accordance with the doctrines set out in the Statement of Faith schedule of the Charity Trust Deed and the relief of poverty. It also supports socially deprived individuals and groups and involves in community oriented projects that can promote societal development and community cohesion.

Children living in the world's most dangerous and poor places are at risk of poverty, exploitation andabuse. In places where conflict, famine and political instability are persistent, children are inevitably at agreater risk. Our focus are those experiencing financial crisis and food poverty - all we do is accessible to people of any ethnic, social or religious background. Other activities include a community Allotment, a home-improvement support scheme and a financial management/budgeting course.

The Trust arose from the wish of Thomas Wall II in 1920 and gives grants for the assistance, support and encouragement of (a) individuals who have financial difficulties but who wish to pursue vocational courses and (b) registered charities for specific projects showing originality in the fields of education and social service in its broadest sense.

Provision of grants for the relief of poor persons who are experiencing/have experienced mental health problems who are resident in Leicester and the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. Grants are made for the benefit of qualifying recipients within the National Health Service and within the private and voluntary sectors. Grants are not made for costs that should be met from public funds.

We currently run 22 junior football teams, including 4 girls teams 1 Adult walking team and a Ladies team with the recruitment of players from the Annitsford, Dudley, Fordley and surrounding areas which the local council have deemed a deprived area we have over 220 youngsters on our books from 4 to 18 years of age we hold a lease through North Tyneside council for Annitsford welfare playing fields

Our stated objectives are, "The relief of poverty among people living or working in Sunderland and it's surrounding areas, by providing such persons with goods, services and food they could not otherwise afford through lack of means, and information advice and guidance.".... In reality we provide hot food, food parcels, clothing and support to those who need it, no questions asked.
