St Gregorys Foundation supports local charities in Eastern Europe to tackle poverty and social insecurity facing children and families. Our projects address the root causes of disadvantage by putting families before institutions and providing opportunities for vulnerable people to fulfil their potential. Bristol Spear oversees the running of the Spear Centre in Bristol. In joint venture partnership with Resurgo Trust, Bristol Spear runs a free twelve-month programme beginning with an intensive six-week foundation phase aimed at getting disadvantaged young people (16-24) year olds ready for work, followed by support to find work or relevant further training.
