The society was formed to give help and relief to poor disadvantaged people.

We operate in and around Richmond Borough. We collect donated furniture, repairing, cleaning, displaying and selling it at low prices to people in need and at higher prices to the general public. We offer basic training and work experience in carpentry and property maintenance to disadvantaged young people and volunteering experience to others including the unemployed

The organisation's current activities is to provide an affordable community transport service for the needs of the elderly, the sick and disabled and disadvantaged people within the community of Pen Llyn. We have over 450 recorded clients, a team of voluntary drivers, our own full-time and one part-time driver and two wheelchair accessable vehicles.

The objectives of AHAG are to relieve hardship, need and distress amongst those who are homeless and educate the public concerning the homeless and inadequately housed

The objectives of YTT is to relieve the poverty, advance the education and promote the health, social and economic welfare of the Gypsy / Traveller community in and around the York area. IN SELECTING RESIDENTS FOR COLSTON'S ALMSHOUSE PREFERENCE SHOULD BE GIVEN TO MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.

The charity exists to advance the education of children between the ages of three and six by the provision of affordable day care services.We aim to give relief to those families in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.In planning our activities for the year we kept in mind the Charities Commission's guidance on public benefit.

We exist to enable Christian design professionals to serve the poorest of poor people in the third world and elswhere by the design of buildings, water and power facilities etc. We aim to 'Design a world of hope'. Almshouse management and relief of poverty.

The charity provides a house and grounds, St Katharine's Parmoor, which is primarily a retreat centre and open to all faiths and denominations. The house and grounds are also used by local old people and youth groups, disadvantaged children, and young people. the grounds are used for training, educating and equipping homeless and disadvantaged young people in horticulture.

-The relief of persons who are in conditions of need, hardship, or distress; or who are aged, or sick by the provision of counselling services to individuals and groups-The advancement of public education especially education in counselling skills Through the following activities:-Individual counselling-Couple counselling-personal development workshops and groups.

To advance the Islamic faith according to the Quran and Sannah in such parts of the world as the Trustees shall from time to time determine and to advance education, to relieve poverty and to promote such other charitable purpose or purposes as the Trustees may from time to time determine

Stitches in Time devise and deliver arts, educational and community development programmes in Tower Hamlets and across London. We provide a forum for culturally diverse and disadvantaged groups to work together, and raise levels of confidence and skills-based learning for women, young people and older people. Our projects are devised with and at the request of our diverse local community.

Provision, at its purpose built residential centre, of free & highly subsidised respite and educational breaks for disadvantaged children from Bristol and the surrounding area.

The project's objectives are to provide counselling and emotional support to women in Leicestershire who have experienced sexual abuse and who are in circumstances of need, hardship and distress.

ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, PROCLAIMING THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL THROUGH WORD AND DEED IN BIRMINGHAM AND BEYOND THROUGH SUNDAY AND MIDWEEK GATHERINGS. RELIEVING OF FINANCIAL HARDSHIP.
