The Charity was established in 1959 by the late George Drexler and exists for such charitable purposes connected with the advancement of education or with the relief of poverty for the families of such persons and amongst former employees of the Ofrex Group and their families and makes awards for these purposes.

Foster esprit de corps among members of the former Royal Army Pay Corps; to relieve poverty and hardship where former personnel or their dependants find themselves in need; the commemoration, remembrance and encouragement of public recognition of the sacrifices made by members of the RAPC in the service of their Country.

Home-Start Camden and Islington trains volunteers who then provide regular support, friendship and practical help to families (which have at least one child under 5). Home-Start Camden and Islington provides back up and supervision of the volunteers as the families supported are generally the most disadvantaged in Camden and Islington.
