To meet the needs of men and women who are homeless, root-less, isolated or lonely over the Christmas and New Year period by providing meals, clothes, companionship, access to services such as hairdressing - support for organisations who offer similar schemes through the year.

We aim to tackle loneliness and social isolation. We provide support for people affected by dementia, other memory problems, and social isolation. We run fortnightly pop-up cafes in Sowerby Bridge and in Halifax at which we offer a varied programme of games, crafts, information, support, cakes and conversation. Our volunteer team run craft sessions, play games, serve refreshments and chat.

FISH Volunteer Centre provides services to the elderly or disabled primarily by driving them to appointments, taking them on shopping trips in the minibus, visiting the lonely in their homes and arranging a monthly afternoon tea as a social event.Services are provided by a group of volunteer drivers and helpers organised by a central group ofvolunteer office staff based in a small building.

Samaritans offer emotional and caring support to the despairing, depressed, lonely, and sometimes suicidal in Pembrokeshire and throughout the UK. Callers may communicate with trained volunteers by telephone, email and face to face. Our aim is that fewer people die by suicide. The service is available twenty four hours of every day.

The activities for children includes a Parent/Carer Toddlers Group, an after school club for Primary age children, a Youth Club and Football club comprising of 5 teams. We have an all age Table Tennis Club and Art Group that meet weekly. For the elderly there is a weekly event and a Tea Club once a month for the lonely and elderly from the town. Cornergate Foundation works with prisoners/ex-offenders helping them to rehabilitate and resettle after prison, refraining from crime. We work with people in addictions, mental health conditions and the lonely and isolated as these factors all overlap. Core work is in befriending/mentoring, addiction recovery, signposting to other agencies and advocacy. We work in Hertfordshire and surrounds.

Good Companions is a charity which covers the Clifton, Wilford and Silverdale areas of Nottingham. Good Companions aims to reduce the isolation and loneliness experienced by the older residents in the area, by the provision of a Volunteer Visiting Scheme and weekly Friendship Groups.

Friends Together is a group addressing social isolation and well being

We support women of all backgrounds who suffer from isolation, depression and anxiety or any other mental health problems. We provide a safe place for them to socialize and to gain their confidence. We arrange ,Yoga and meditation, therapeutic art (Pottery) and beauty & skin hygiene classes for our members. We arrange dancing sessions for the members too.

Friendship Lab empowers adults with the wisdom and skills to make their friendships thrive. We achieve this purpose by providing evidence based courses and training, media engagement and thought leadership, and accessible research, to directly address the pressing crises of escalating loneliness and decreasing mental health.

A BEFRIENDERS SERVICE TO HELP ISOLATED AND HOUSEBOUND WITH A VARIETY OF SERVICES - SHOPPING,DOG WALKING, VISITING AND GENERAL SOCIAL CONTACT; 3. LUNCH CLUB TO BENEFIT THE ELDERLY, DISABLED OR ISOLATED / HOUSEBOUND BY PROVIDING REGULAR SOCIAL ACTIVITY

Friendly Faces of Kent support anyone over the age of 18 who is isolated and lonely. We provide person cantered activities and coffee mornings for those able to come along. We also provide support virtually via our social media platforms. We are a point of contact for signposting to other organisations where appropriate.
