The Silver Line is a unique national service that provides three key functions to support older people:1. a signposting service to link them into the many and varied services that exist around the country;2. a friendship service to combat loneliness; and 3. a means of empowering those who may be suffering abuse and neglect and, if appropriate, transferring them to specialist services.

In 2013 we conducted the project aimed to relieve burden of isolation for Azeri's in London. We organised fortnightly community meetings. During these meetings we organised such activities as mathematics, music and English language lessons for children, backgammon and domino games for adults, cooking activities for women, as an activities to get elders and young generation involved together.

FECP has been set up to support local communities through improving the lives of those that are or might be socially excluded & promoting community cohesion across barriers of age, race, religion, class etc. FECP is initially operating in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets & until further funds are raised is providing activities to & support for young people who are within our criteria.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing new migrants from becoming socially excluded and assisting them to integrate successfully into the communities into which they settle. The Trust will also work with local host communities to encourage them to be more accepting of, and engaged with, migrant communities so that integration can benefit both.

We work with young people aged 16 to 25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and with vulnerable and socially excluded people in County Durham. Services and interventions are provided to support vulnerable people into independent living through pre-tenancy work, provision of supported accommodation, counselling, information advice and guidance, floating support and education and training.

The Foundation commissions projects that provide support to people from underprivileged and socially excluded backgrounds to develop entrepreneurial skills and help them back into employment, and to start micro and small businesses in such areas to help them grow and create local job opportunities.

Nudge Foundation is a charity based in Croydon whose purpose is to prevent people from becoming socially excluded or isolated and assist them to integrate into society. This is effected through the annual issuing of grants to charities who operate in this sector and focuses, though not exclusively, on young people by such means as offering training or community support.

To relieve the needs and social isolation of elderly people in Ellesmere Port and surrounding areas by the provision of a hub to enable beneficiaries to come together and share knowledge, company, refreshments and leisure-time pursuits.It encourages getting out and mixing with others who are like minded, preventing social isolation as well as promoting health and wellbeing.

Pilgrims provides sessions for people with mental health difficulties using horses and other animals to bring relief, create community and reduce isolation.

Caring Heart Foundation provides practical support services and empowers families and individuals helping them achieve social integration and good health. This is through community health promotion, domestic violence support, promoting safeguarding practices and emotional support services, support to disadvantaged young people in the community, befriending service to the vulnerable and isolated.

S.E.E.D. was born out of the continued disadvantage and discrimination faced by people who are socially excluded. Studies have shown that such people underperform in multiple areas and experience fewer chances in life. S.E.E.D. wishes to address their exclusion through development and support activities from school age right up to adulthood, by providing access to Entrepreneurial Resources.

we provide information, support, advice and guidance to socially excluded groups on the grounds of their social and economic position. We also provide educational, social and recreational programmes or activities that promote community involvement.

The Ana Trust assists established charitable organisations already known to its trustees to further education particularly in music and buying instruments. Other activities supported include entertainment stimulating the interest of people threatened by loneliness. Restoration of musical instruments and paintings is also relevant as an activity to support.

Strengthening and Empowering People was St Edward's Development Project (STEP) is a fully independent community organisation, addressing social isolation and loneliness via community activities for all ages including amongst parents at our toddler group, through inter-generational activities and events.
