To provide accommodation for the purpose of education,training and social activities for people of all ages and backgrounds and facilities as a general meeting hall for all village activities.The main activities being - Gardening Association, Social Clubs, Village History Association, private parties and general meeting hall for Whilton residents and their visitors

Bingo once a week. W.I. meetings. Whist drives. School uses hall for sports lessons. Social events, plays, etc.

Bablake Parents' Association raise funds which support the schools within Coventry Schools Foundation, on the foundations premises, for the advancement of it's student's education and provide items not within the school's statutory budget. The way in which we raised funds would be through the running of a 200 Club raffle draw and organising social events these including fayres, quiz night's etc.

To raise money for equipment and activities for the children of Oakwood School. To organise social events for parents and carers and to provide support.

The Hall gives the Village a community building which is used for meetings - P.C & other village orginisations. It provides a venue for art & Keepfit classes, entertainment and social events .

TAO runs a drop-in service 3 full days each week for people with long-term mental health difficulties - this provides space to socialise, quality meals at cost price, art group, drama group, therapy, massage, board games and other activities as and when volunteers are available to run a group. All activities are free.In addition we provide occasional subsidised meals (eg: Christmas) and outings.

Darkei Avos was founded to advance the education of high school aged pupils through the study of a designated moral, ethical and educational framework, Pirkei Avos. Darkei Avos promotes personal development, social interaction and communal involvement.The knowledge gained helps pupils to succeed in all areas, it develops their spiritual core and shows them how to be the best version of themselves.

Fund raising by way of events, social events, raffles etc

This is a school PTA. All money raised through school activities, raised by school fairs and social events is used to fund school trips, equipment or other school costs. Increasingly it is used to plug government funding cuts.

The twin objectives of LISA are to raise funds to be used to enhance the learning experience of children at Lydgate Infant School, and to build a sense of community amongst the families involved with the school. To achieve this, we hold several events each year, some with the primary aim of fundraising, and others where the main focus is more of a social event.

Bagby and Balk Village society is a charity set up to support the community. We insure and maintain a playpark which is a hub for children / parents and grandparents. We host community events and social activities. We support the local football team and insure the sports field.

We organise fairs, competitions and social activities to help generate money to enhance school funds and the pupil's learning experiences.

We help people with Downs Syndrome and their families. We run informative events, provide support, advice and social activities, promoting awareness of Downs in Cardiff and SE Wales. Over 140 families have free membership and members with Downs help lead the group. We are financed solely from donations and fundraising.
