To provide support to Pen-y-cwm Special School.To organise social activities for the parents of pupils of Pen-y-cwm Special School.

Providing an affordable space for Children/Adult Dance Classes, Latin Line dance, Tai Chi, Yoga, Over 60's (friendship club), Comer Ladies as regular groups.Used also by the local Community of St John's for Parties, Meetings, Charity events etc. The Hall is managed by volunteers/trustees of Comer Gardens Hall Association

We are a parent and toddler group which provides a place for parents/grandparents and carers with young babies/children to meet and socialise whilst their children play in a safe and stimulating environment.

An oportunity for ladies to meet, socialise and discuss areas of concern in the local area that would benefit the community at large and to give support where possible.

FODS runs fundraising activities to advance the education, well-being and independence of the pupils of Dysart School and to promote and protect the physical and mental health of students with disabilities and their carers. Our activities fund equipment, facilities and social events that support the school to develop effective relationships between the staff, parents and the local community.

Social activities and general fund raising

Organises fundraising activities (fetes, raffles, collections etc) to provide additional educational and recreational resources for the school (eg Interactive whiteboards for classrooms, outdoor play equipment, astro-turf, library books) and seasonal/social activities for the children (Christmas Presents, Easter Eggs, discos etc). We also pay for school coaches to take children on trips.

To create understanding among peoples of the world, promote good government and citizenship. Take an active interest in the civic cultural,social and moral welfare of the community. Unite bonds of friendship, provide a forum for open discussion other than religion and politics. Encourageservice minded people to serve their community.

Dunstable Men in Sheds is a member of the UK Men's Sheds Association. The Men's Shed movement provides a community based atmosphere for men over 50 to engage in hobbies, community projects and general socialising. The Shed has workspace fitted with machine tools, etc, which are available for all to use. www.dunstablemeninsheds.org.uk will tell you more!

Village hall is used regularly by local church for coffee & meetings. Many social events e.g. dinners, bingo, quiz nights, flower shows. Funds raised from some of these events are used towards upkeep of church & hall. Village hall is an excellent facility for creating good community life & spirit.

Support for the villagers through - raising funds for the village through a Biennial fete and running a 100 club and other social events to allow the promotion of an annual firework display, annual Easter egg hunt, Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner, monthly walks and talks, 2 village Christmas trees, donations to local groups - including our school and maintainence of the village common.

All Inc offers coached sessions in trampolining to people who have a disability and an opportunity for them and their families/carers to socialise. Sessions take place in Sheffield on Saturday mornings during school term-times and are led by qualified coaches supported by other volunteers.

Works towards achieving the charities objectives by holding monthly meetings where topical issues are discussed on which surveys are completed.Speakers on a variety of topics both educational and recreational are invited.Regular social events,outings and activities are held.

Providing a centre for social interaction, sports and comunity activities

The making of donations to local, national and international charities. Supporting other deserving causes (primarily local to Wallasey but also more widely on Merseyside), sponsoring exchange students, sponsoring educational and social activities for young students, senior and other citizens and supporting Rotary Foundation.

Charity launch March 2014 with displays, information and messages of support. The launch highlighted our work over the last 11 years and acted as a fundraising event for the Women's visit. Visit to Oxford of 7 women (6 from a refugee camp and one a medical worker) June 2014. Raised awareness of human rights and humanitarian issues. Over 400 people heard the women speak and received information.

EMiS provides a physical space, tools and equipment, encouragement and training to carry out various activities such as small woodworking projects, community projects, gardening and social activities. Catchment area is Evesham and surrounding areas.

FRIENDS OF TRELALES SCHOOL OPERATES IN THE BRIDGEND AREA TO RAISE FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF THE ACTIVITIES OF TRELALES PRIMARY SCHOOL. ALL MEMBERS OF THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN THE ASSOCIATION NOT ONLY TO SUPPORT THE FUND RAISING BUT ALSO ENJOY THE SOCIAL INTERACTION IT OFFERS.
