To relieve the needs of homeless persons, or those at risk of homelessness, particularly but not exclusively, in Derbyshire by the provision of food, drink, replacement clothing, sleeping bags, companionship, advice, signposting and practical and emotional support.

A small playgroup & parent and toddler club giving a safe happy place for children to learn, play and socialise together. Parent & toddler club gives carers a place to bring their young child allowing them a time to mix with other children & carers.

MTFG supports people who find it hard to meet & socialise with others due to a lack of confidence that has been brought on by various life issues such as loneliness & loss of a love one.Our aim is to encourage people to join our club get involved in social activities. Day trips are low cost giving members a sense of togetherness contributing to boosting confidence, cutting out social inclusion.

A Men's Shed is a community project with the aim of promoting men's health and wellbeing through social interaction and practical activity particularly in retirement. This comprises of a communal workshop, based in Pembroke Dock, where the men can come together to work on individual or community projects, all within a safe and friendly environment.

Marchwood Men's Shed provide a space for people (not just men) to socialise, share skills and create. The shed operates from the Lloyd Recreation Ground in Marchwood. The members work on projects that benefit the wider community, including for schools, pre-schools, churches and the general public.

The Communi-Tea Circle organise hosted social events to reduce loneliness and isolation amongst the elderly.

We have a monthly meeting with ex and current merchant navy members to promote friendship and discuss ways of raising funds to preserve the upkeep of our magnificent, monument and organise events regarding Merchant Navy seamen and mmembers of the fishing fleets who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Kent Liberal Jewish Community - Ohel Rachel is part of Liberal Judaism. We have around 50 members living all over Kent and hold monthly Shabbat services in Maidstone, as well as Festival services and social events. All Jewish men and women, including those with non-Jewish partners and those who are Jews by choice, will receive a warm welcome in our community.

Making available for hire an indoor space suitable for modest sized functions to the residents of the village of Gaddesden Row and the surrounding area. Organising social gatherings to be held within the hall, its grounds and the wider village as a means of fostering friendship and goodwill within the local community.

Provide facilities for various activities (learning, creative and exercise) for children, adults, the elderly e.g. nursery school, folk dance, table tennis, garden club, occasional bee keeping classes and social events for the whole community.

PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISABLED PERSONS TO WORSHIP AND TO MEET WITH OTHERS FOR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND FELLOWSHIP.

Raise funds by running 'fairs/fetes' etc, raffles and social events.Spend money raised on a mixture of social/fun activities for the school children, subsidise school trips and some curricular activities.

WE HAVE MONTHLY MEETINGS WITH GUEST SPEAKERS, IN ORDER TO EDUCATE & ENTERTAIN OUR MEMBERS. WE ALSO SUPPORT ONE OR TWO LOCAL CHARITIES BY RAISING FUNDS BY SOCIAL EVENTS. OUR UMBRELLA H.Q. LOBBIES GOVERNMENT ON VARIES ISSUES OF INTEREST TO OUR MEMBERS.

The PTA will raise additional funds through social events that families can enjoy to develop the day to day experiences of the students, We will generate the support of and donations from the local community and promote engagement between parents and teachers.

Cultural and Social activities for the elderly

We provide a venue for public and private events involving the people of Collyweston and its environs.As part of our fund-raising to assist in the maintenance of the Hall and its facilities we also arrange a programme of social events for the people of Collyweston and its environs.

AS A SCHOOL PTA WE RAISE FUNDS BY HAVING SOCIAL ACTIVITIES WITHIN SCHOOL, SUCH AS BINGO, QUIZZES, AND A SUMMER AND CHRISMAS FAIR. ALL THE MONEY RAISED IS USED TO BENEFIT THE CHILDREN, AND ADULTS, INVOLVED WITH OUR PRIMARY SCHOOL.

The Community Centre provides varied activities for the benefit of the community which we serve. These include - stroke club - computer club - children's disco - warm zone drop-ins - band rehearsals- church groups- - day carers group - disabled group - keep fit classes - social activities - rugby training and a meeting venue, activity groups and a gardening/social group.
