Hersham Women's Institute is a flourishing members organisation with 63 members providing educational and social activities for all women in our community.

CHA promotes and organises events for the advancement of Indian Culture, Dance, Music and Religions. It works with non-government, government, community groups and education institutes.It also runs elders club so as to keep them active and provides meeting place for socialising. Regular lectures and talks are arranged on topics to keep the community informed on topical issues..

Educational and friendship activities.

We provide a Village Hall for hire and for the promotion of various entertainments, functions, meetings and social activities for the use and enjoyment of the local community.

We buy unproductive land to create community woodland and wild spaces, to increase biodiversity and benefit wildlife and people. We run work parties, educational, artistic and social events. We work closely with our local primary school to give all pupils experience of this work and ensure sustainability. We are the parish Tree Wardens and plant and maintain trees and hedges in our village.

We provide a place for young people to come together and socialise, with a range of activity's young people can participate in. Activity's on offer are pool, darts, roller skating, table tennis, hockey, badminton, volley ball, tennis, football, Internet access, computer and games consoles, disco's, karaoke, bouncy castle, arts and crafts. All in a safe supervised environment.

Fundraising to purchase items/equipment for the benefit the children of Holy Trinity School and the surrounding community. Also organise social events for the pupils at Holy Trinity.

We organise social activities and fund-raising events for both adults and children at the school. We raise funds to provide extra equipment and resources to enrich and improve the facilities available to the children of St Mary's School, 'extras' that would not normally be possible within the school budget.

A VILLAGE RESOURCE TO ENABLE SUPPORT, FRIENDSHIP AND COMMUNITY BASED ACTIVITIES FOR AS WIDE A RANGE OF LOCAL RESIDENTS AS POSSIBLE, INCLUDING CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLY

Raises funds by donations,fetes,social events. Contributes to the maintenance of the fabric of St Andrew's parish church,which is a prominent and valued public building in Old Headington village.

NBVH provides a social focus for the community.It provides facilities for local groups e.g book club, art, history group, sewing group, parish council, parochial council meetings. It provides a venue for social events for the community quiz nights, table tennis, cinema evenings and is also available at extremely reasonably rates for private hire e.g. children's parties, large family occasions.

The object of the charity is the management of Hindringham Playing Field including play area and pavilion. Raising funds for general maintenance and providing facilities for sporting and social activities.

The objects are for the benefit of the public, the advancement of the wellbeing of children born of war, their families and communities in any part of the world, by providing grants to projects, charities, organisations working to reduce hardship and stigmatization, to promote and protect their physical/mental wellbeing, education, social inclusion, economic empowerment and human rights.

BRIXHAM WOMENS INSTITUTEOffers education, leisure activities and friendship to women who are members of the National Federation of Womens Institutes

Educational and social activities for the Muslim community of Sandwell, including but not limited to, Islamic classes, social youth events and public seminars.

Organising and running events, to raise funds to pay for or towards curriculum enrichment, social activities or new equipment and facilities for St Mary's School.

We meet weekly and encourage young people with or without disabilities to take part in various activities including sports, social activities, Duke of Edinburgh awards, day trips and activity residential weekends.
