The Village Hall is available for hire by the hour for:- social events, wedding receptions, birthdays parties, fund raising events, theatre groups, music groups, activity groups, Brownies, Guides, weekend or week camps for Brownies, sporting activities, hobbies, teaching, conferences, training sessions.

Provide a meeting place for small rural community , e.g. open meetings, parish council and church bodies, social events both private and public, venue for elections.... etc.

The Acle and District Men's Shed provides a dedicated space where men and women aged 18 and overcan socialise, learn from each other and serve the local community through the engagement ofconstructive activities. These activities are often, though not exclusively, practical in nature such as woodworking and DIY skills, and involve working together on joint projects.

Working in the communities, for the communities, with the communities of Carmarthenshire and the City and County of Swansea. Promoting education, healthy activates, social interaction and eradicate poverty for the benefit of the young, old, disabled, disadvantaged and the general population. Freehold Village hall for benefit of Mamhead Parish and surrounding area since before 1927. Social events, hall hire. Running cost fundraisers - skittles,talks,dinners,Whist,family parties,classes, exhibitions,walks,dances etc.Others as projects complete. Projects in hand for sustainability,accessibility and renovation of this historic building

The International Duke Elder Medal was endowed by Lady Duke Elder in 1980. The Fund provides for the medal an oration and associated expenses. The medal is awarded 4 yearly to an ophthalmologist who has contributed most to the development of international relations and friendship between ophthalmologists, and who has advanced the field by contributions in writing and organization in ophthalmology.

The provision of a meeting place for senior citizens in, and around, the Petworth area thus encouraging companionship and conversation. Numerous activities and outings are arranged throughout the year together with regular scrabble, bingo, card and quiz sessions. The centre is generally open Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 12.00pm and in the afternoons between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.

Aston Village Hall is the only community meeting place servicing the villages of Aston, Willoughbridge and Weymouth. It provides a venue for meetings, fitness activities, church services and community events. The trustees hold a number of social events and activities every year.

Special Friends support families living in Belper and the neighbouring areas who have children with additional needs and disabilities. The whole family is supported through; Playgroup, Siblings support, Family Activities, Accessible activities for SEN children, Social events, Information Workshops and Parent/Carer Support.

Our work is better served by working to build community cohesion by bringing the community together in formal and informal gathereings.Grassroot work with young people about topics covered in training such as social inclusion, community cohesion, equality, diversity and democracy.Mustaqbill Foundation has produced a support system for parents that need support in tackling the views of extremism.
