Wistow Village Hall is a facility provided for the use of village residents and the surrounding area. The Hall Management Committee organises events as social activities for the local community and to raise funds for the maintenance and improvement of the village hall.

The trust organises sporting, recreational and social activities for the residents of the Suffolk villages of Walpole and Cookley. It owns the freehold of the Walpole playing field on which a community pavilion has been built.

ACTIVITIES CONFORM WITH THE CONSTITUTION OF THE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE -EDUCATION AND FRIENDSHIP

The provision of swimming lessons, water therapy, carer respite and social activities to people of all ages who have physical, mental health or learning disabilities (and their carers) in the Wimborne and surrounding East Dorset area, in a safe and friendly environment (which is not normally provided by statutory authorities) to improve their health and wellbeing.

The Club provides support for those in need in South East Suffolk particularly those unsupported by Government and other agencies. Activities include; meetings for those seeking companionship, distribution of message in a bottle, grants to families and individuals, Christmas food parcels.

To provide support and financial assistant to all members and ex-members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Merchant Navy, and WRNS. To assist any local charities with Naval influence. To provide guidance to any of these, in respect of financial assistance. To provide financial assistance if required.Social activities, Companionship ,outings and Welfare for members and their families.

Help children in our school through purchase of materials and volunteer help in the classrooms Provide social activities which stimulate and interest the children.

We provide deaf children and their families with opportunities to come together and socialise by activities such as parties, pantomime tickets and visits to places of interest. We also provide much needed equipment such as vibrating alarms clocks, flash doors bells, minicoms etc.

Supporting families who have a member with Down Syndrome through a variety of social activities involving the whole family.
