Friends of Holy Trinity exists to provide enhanced resources and educational provision at Holy Trinity Primary School and to offer fun social opportunities to the families of children in school. BLAST provides support for autistic children and young people and their families in Staffordshire through safe learning environments, workshops, and leisure activities. 24 INNER WHEEL CLUBS MAKE UP DISTRICT 7, WHICH IS PART OF THE ASSOCIATION OF INNER WHEEL CLUBS IN GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND. THE DISTRICT RAISES FUNDS FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES BOTH AT A CLUB AND DISTRICT LEVEL, BY ORGANISING SOCIAL EVENTS IN AID OF SPECIFIC CHARITIES.

Provide support, friendship and comfort by way of social activities for people who have suffered a stroke or strokes within the area of the Borough of Southend-on-Sea.

The Salisbury Men's Shed promotes social inclusion by by preventing people, particularly but not exclusively men, aged 18 or over, within the city of Salisbury and neighbouring areas, from becoming socially excluded, through the provision of facilities in which they can meet to undertake creative, physical or recreational activities, learn and pass on skills and support each other socially.

We have held regular monthly meetings and occasional social events, made subscriptions and collections to raise branch funds. During the financial year we have made donations to various charities and appeals for assistance.

Southfield WI is outward looking, it has monthly meetings with speakers, reading group, visits to theatre, and historical places. It supports G.F.W.I. events, including music, drama, crafts, and environmental issues. Southfield gives a bursary for educational courses, welcomes visitors, and gives social companionship for its members. Many members volunteer for local causes.

Provide Social events i.e. Domino Evenings, Craft afternoons, Bingo evenings,arrange seasonal Coach Outings and a Christmas Party available to any Senior Citizen.(usually about 160).

The Trustees maintain the grade II listed 'Eyre Chapel' and grounds by encouraging local groups and individuals to hire the hall for lectures and social activities in accordance with our remit in the trust deed.

We aim to provide diverse facilities for communities in Greater Manchester. The services will include; to establish Maktab system of education for Muslim children and adults, to establish a community centre(s) to provide facilities for social welfare including recreational activities for local communities in particular engaging young children, to establish place of worship & social events etc.

We provide a safe and welcoming environment for children aged 0-5 years, their parents/carers and their older siblings up to the age of 12 to play, learn, build friendship and strengthen community cohesion.

However much we would all like to see more funding in education, there will always be shortfalls. FOWSA's fundraising events pay for those extras which benefit all the children in Wistow School. Many of our fundraising activities are social events and a good way of bringing the school and outside community together.
