We aim to preserve and improve the good health of people living with HIV, particularly (though not exclusively) those attending the Bloomsbury Clinic. We achieve this by providing information, advice, and raising awareness of issues pertaining to living with HIV and its associated co-morbidities, primarily through educational forums, workshops and courses, as well as community and social events.

A rural youth movement for young people aged between 10-26 years. Members can gain confidence and get valuable skills in drama & entertainments, public speaking, sports competitions, stock-judging and cattle showing, dancing. Life skills are learnt by arranging and conducting meetings, social events an fundraising.

Our charity is for the companionship, education & social gathering of women in this community. We are also quite willing to undertake other tasks for the benefit of our community. We monitor the health and wellbeing of our members particularly the elderly ones and provide contact and emotional support.

The Pavilion is a community centre set at the heart of the extensive Meon Vale housing development, near Long Marston and Quinton. Our aim is to establish this facility as a welcoming, safe and practical environment for all the local residents to use. Friday Friends provides a friendly and supportive environment in which adults with additional and special needs can engage in enjoyable and purposeful activity aimed at encouraging increased independence and enhanced social interaction.

Dereham Men Shed is an independent local charity, operating under the umbrella of the UK Men Sheds Association. The objective of our group is to promote social inclusion and help reduce isolation for the benefit of men in Dereham and its surrounding villages. This is achieved through working in partnership with other local groups to support our community and providing support to each other.

Fund Raising Events included the following:-Coffee Mornings. Lunches, Social Events and a Christmas Sleigh collection.

Social activities, including visits to restaurants, theatres, ten pin bowling and local places of interest. We enjoy centre based dances, parties, arts & crafts and sports activities. We take part in local events like Kenilworth Festival, local fetes and Christmas activities. We also enjoy occasional days out and weekends away together.

Our group meets monthly and includes talks on various subjects, a discussion group, who consider up to date issues and a book group who read and discuss a wide variety of literature and authors. Provides a drop-in centre for the elderly once a week with transport for those who need it. Provides a social outlet for the elderly in order to keep them in their own homes for as long as possible rather than going into residential accommodation. Organise trips and other social events.

Monthly meeting for educational and social activities for local women

Various social activities held during each year to raise funds for developments at Plas Dol-y-Moch. The current focus is to help fund a project to provide additional new facilities at the Centre.

The Darley Memorial Hall is used by the villages of Lastingham & Spaunton. The Management Committee are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep. Funds are raised by organising events for the local community as well as the general public. The hall is used for keep fit classes, wedding receptions, birthday parties, meetings, lectures and other village social events.
