To provide access for its members to a range of social activities and outings. Provides a monthly programme of guest speakers and outings together with the opportunity to participate in a number of diverse local activities.

To deliver activities that promote equality and diversity and social inclusion for the public benefit for people displaced and seeking asylum or refugees settling in the neighbouring Boroughs of Calderdale and Rochdale and wishing to integrate with the inhabitants of these Boroughs.

To promote the integration of people with and without disabilities. To provide social activities for young people within the North Wiltshire area including day trips, bingo; discos; craft evenings, etc. Also communicating between other clubs both lacal and nationally.

The U3A provides opportunites for its members to socialise, learn new skills, visit new places and enjoy recreation. We try to arrange interesting and stimulating speakers. We have over 20 groups organised by the members themselves on a range of subjects, for example, artistic, sporting, languages, gardening & historical.

Education to promote the advancement of women by social interaction

Camberley Mencap provides help and advice to people with a learning disability and their families/carers who have close associations with the district. The society organises social events including outings and a weekly youth club. Financial help is also given towards otherwise unfunded living expenses, holidays etc.

Providing a weekly youthclub for children of Clanfield and surrounding villages where they can socialise and learn new skills. Organising community events and volunteering with other local groups.

The Parish Hall is maintained by a group of Volunteers, it is hired out to various organisations throughout the week and social events are held throughout the year by local people in the parish. Our main role is to ensure everything runs smoothly and that enough funds are available for maintaining the hall and keeing it in good repair.

WE MEET EVERY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. WHEN WE ALL PLAY BINGO.HAVE QUIZZES AND GENERALLY CONVERSEAND CATCH UP WITH FRIENDS, WE ALSOTRY TO HAVE AT LEAST 3/4 DAY TRIPS PER YEAR AND WHEN POSSIBLE TWO MORE WITH MEALS IE XMAS AND IN THE SPRING, ALSO WE HAVE AN XMAS PARTY WITH ENTERTAINMENT AT BOTH THE XMAS FESTIVITIES.

Teaching & developing of aquatic skills from beginners through to competitive swimmers for those with physical , sensory and or learning disabilities by volunteer Level 2 qualified teachers in a sheltered environment.Encouraging social interaction with others wanting to be as safe in water as possible, and have fun.

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by promoting the integration into mainstream society of people who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed, in particular in holding an annual awards ceremony which highlights the positive contribution such people are making to British society.

The community garden is situated in an area where there are pockets of deprivation and there are a number of flats with no gardens.

LEUCAN embraces families living in the area from Shoreham to Chichester with children with leukaemia, cancer or bone marrow failure. The self-help group offers comfort, support and advice, along with financial assistance to families who have unexpected expenses and travel costs. The group also organises social events to enable families to meet in informal situations.
