The Guild has a large choir who entertain locally and perform regularly for charity. Outings and events are held throughout the year. One of the purposes of the Guild is to promote continued education of women through interesting speakers and activities and to form a bond of friendship between members.

The trustees administer the running of Oxenton Village Hall. It is used by the villagers for recreational activities & social events. Occasionally it is let to other charities & individuals for the same purposes.

FAINS is the parent/teacher association for the school. Made up of parents and staff the group's main aim is to raise extra funds whilst providing social activities for the families and staff at the school.

Basingstoke WI activities are as follows: Monthly meetings with a speaker or activity and time to socialize. Organised work shops and outings and regular members' groups, trips, walks and demonstrations in connection with craft, education, training, sport and culture and attendance at County and National WI events. Welfare for WI members.

The village hall is run for the benefit of the residents of Linstead Parva and Linstead Magna. It is used for various social events throughout the year and for parish meetings. It is also used a a Polling Station when required.

The Club is a social venue for over 55s and has a current membership of 78 male and female ,we are open six days per week for various activities including, recently, technology facilities.we have outings and holidays though out the year and various sport participation, ie Bowling and external social events, we try to do some work for local charities where ever possible .

Raising funds to support the Tilshead church council to maintain, improve and enhance the fabric, equipment, fittings, furniture and monuments of our Grade 1 listed parish church and its churchyard. As well as raising money through subscriptions, the Friends executive committee arranges social events to give participants enjoyment as well as contributing financially.

Our project addresses the mental health needs of hesitant African women by reducing barriers to care, raising awareness, and providing support. We aim to establish a network of community mental health advocates who will engage with women in community centres, places of worship, and social events. These advocates will offer information, support, and resources to help women overcome their hesitation

THE WI GIVES COMPANIONSHIP - EDUCATION AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE ELDERLY, THOSE PROJECTS ARE FUNDED BY OURSELVES BY ATTENDING FETES - COFFEE MORNINGS ETC

We are a playgroup, giving young children somewhere to learn, play and socialise with their parents and carers. We operate on a term time basis from 9.30am to 11.30am and work on a drop in basis. Children are welcome from babies to pre school age.

The Bar Hill Parent and Toddler Group provides a safe and friendly environment for Children and their Carers to socialise in Bar Hill

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by working with people in Peterborough who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed (in particular, members of the Nigerian community) to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society.

We have a programme of four meetings a year, in January, March, May and November, with speakers and discussion afterwards. In addition there is a social event in June. Meetings are held mostly at the Liberal Jewish Synagogue, and sometimes at neighbouring places of Christian worship.

The charity runs once a week, Baby and Toddler group to which parents/carers can bring children of up to school age (0 - 4 years) to play and socialise.
