The main objectives of the synagogue is to further the advancement if Liberal Judaism. It provides a place of worship, provides rabbinical services, arranges conversions to Judaism, the solemnisation of marriages and funerals to members. It provides a religion school for children and adult education and a friendship club for senior members and the wider community.

Please note:- Our activities are now greatly reduced - we built a Community Centre 20 years ago which we have now leased to another Charity - Wetheriggs United Football Club - They are a Chartity organisation (not sure of their number) email address:- wetheriggsunited@hotmail.com We are still the "landlord" but all hirings etc will be done by them and as from now we will have very little income.

IN ADDTION, THE GROUP HAVE GUEST SPEAKERS TO SHARE INFORMATION WITH IT'S MEMBERS WHICH BENEFITS INDIVIDUALS IN TERMS OF GAINING KNOWLEDGE / INFORMATION AND MEMBERS OVERALL WELL BEING.

Wandsworth Mind @ The Forester provides a base for people with serious mental health problems. It has a cafe and activities aimed at promoting social inclusion, recovery and a sense of belonging. Service users work as volunteers or sessional staff, with the aim of creating a community which is both therapeutic and business-like. It also runs two second-hand shops and a housing support service

we run a community centre. within the centre we run a playgroup, We also now accomodate a children's centre. We hire rooms out to several groups which include diet and exercse, parent and toddler group, baby clinic,dancing classes, friendship group, widow group, chiropody and so on. We are sympathetic to charitable organisations wanting to use our centre.

A rural youth movement for members aged 10-26 years, where members can gain confidence, learn and achieve in public speaking, drama and entertainments, sports competitions, stockjudging and stock showing/presentation, dancing, meetings and social events. Members run their own clubs and fundraise.

Supporting the work of Greenside School through providing specialist resources as well as social activities for pupils and their families.

This club provides a service to blind and partially sighted people meeting on the first Monday of each month-members are picked up by voluntary drivers transported to meetings at Grove Barnes TW18 2EY. Where they enjoy afternoon tea, raffles entertainment and socialising, with friends, similary handicapped seasonal events also arranged.

Caversham Heights Pre-school is open to every family in the local community and we make every effort to ensure that the group is genuinely accessible to all. Our approach is based on the Pre-school Learning Alliance's learning through play philosophy. This carries children from early socialising at three through to more focused preparation for school as they approach five years old.
