Friendship Works (previously Friends United Network) supports children (5-16) from families in London who are facing a range of long-term difficulties. Each child referred to Friendship Works is matched with an adult volunteer who takes them out once a week for 3-4 hours. Volunteers commit to a support a child for a minimum of 2 years.

We no longer operate the Friendship Social Club, we concentrate mainly on the annual Jamaica Day event that we have run for the past 10 years. The Dresden Trust builds bridges of friendship and cooperation between the people of Britain and Dresden following the destruction of the historic centre by British bombing in 1945. Charity recruits and maintains a group of Friends of Church Farmhouse Museum at Hendon. The Friends hold social events and assist the Museum curator with exhibitions. Funds raised by the Friends are applied for the purchase of artifacts and to the advancement of the Museum in conjunction with the curator. The Friends operate in Hendon as the name implies, within the London Borough of Barnet.

Bishop Waltham Young Farmers Club is part of the Hampshire Federation, which is in turn part of a national federation. We provide activities for 10 to 27 year olds who are interested in the countryside, farming, sports, social events etc. Our club has been running since 1936.

sunbeams is a popular village toddler group run by parents on a voluntary basis.Children up to school age can attend and take part in play, craft activities, singing, and themed parties.It runs on a monday morning and parents from Aberford and surrounding area enjoy socialising in the church -as do the children-many lasting friendships are made.Sunbeams is a member of the PSLA too.
