The main social event of each year is a Gala Dinner at Lincoln's Inn, London where in 1896 the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah was called to the Bar. This is usually in June. We are a charity committed to the advance of the Christian faith. This is done through: 1. Providing a place of worship and friendship for a growing number of small community groups in local areas. 2. Providing biblical training, teaching and equipping for acts of service. 3. Providing pastoral care for the people who are part of the church.

We lease Melvin Hall from LBB which we run as a Community Centre. We hire out the halls to raise finances to cover the maintenance of the building and provide deprived/disabled groups with social events and activities. We work closely with the local community, charities and groups, providing venues for meetings and activities at reduced charges where ever possible.

As part of the National Association of Round Tables, Knowle & Dorridge Round Table carries out its purpose through a nationally set standard approach adopted by all Round Tables in the UK. Round Table members meet twice a month for social activities, quarterly for business meetings, and annually for the AGM. We run three charity fundraisers annually; Dorridge Day, Santa float, K&D Drinks Festival.

TWC promotes friendship between women in UK and the countries of Asia, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, where it supports the training of workers - particularly women - working in the field of disability in the community with the aim of improving the care and promoting the Inclusion of children with disabilities in mainstream education and other opportunities within their communities.

Our centre is self-financing and managed by volunteers. We provide a pleasant venue for local residents and groups. Activities include art, ladies choir, W.I. and day centre for the elderly (run by volunteers), also yoga and pilates for adults plus karate classes for children. The Association (HCA) maintains, improves, uses and runs Hepworth Village Hall, a former day-school owned by the Anglican church. HCA lets space, at low rates, to local groups (sports, craft, playgroup, charities, drama etc) and to individuals for social events and parties. SMVCA currently administer the village hall facility, providing local groups, organisations and individuals with a facility to hold their meetings, classes or events. We also organise social events for the benefit of all parishioners and the surrounding area.
