FISH Volunteer Centre provides services to the elderly or disabled primarily by driving them to appointments, taking them on shopping trips in the minibus, visiting the lonely in their homes and arranging a monthly afternoon tea as a social event.Services are provided by a group of volunteer drivers and helpers organised by a central group ofvolunteer office staff based in a small building.

Our charity provides social activities, respite assistance and information and help with everyday problems for our members with learning disabilities. We have a weekly social club for all members in the area from aged 18 upwards. We also operate a weekly allotment group and a 15-25 weekly activity group.

Good Companions is a charity which covers the Clifton, Wilford and Silverdale areas of Nottingham. Good Companions aims to reduce the isolation and loneliness experienced by the older residents in the area, by the provision of a Volunteer Visiting Scheme and weekly Friendship Groups.
