We are a friendly self-help organisation offering more than 50 member-led interest groups and a monthly meeting for all members with a talk of general interest. The interest groups allow people to share their hobbies and interests, study new topics and enjoy the companionship of others. Members come from Bishops Cleeve, Woodmancote and the surrounding area.

Upper Eden Linking Lives is a befriending service aimed at adults who are experiencing loneliness or find themselves requiring some extra friendship and support, and this is provided through weekly home visits or telephone calls. We match volunteers with those who are referred to us and all volunteers are carefully selected, trained, and vetted.

Ashton under Hill Free Church is engaged in the worship of God and the furtherance of the Christian gospel and the general advancement of the Christian faith. The Church Fellowship will undertake the relief of persons who are in need or hardship or who are aged or sick, and may organise and provide appropriate charitable social activities for the benefit of the community in the local area.

Resident meetings, consultations, social events, clubs, bingo, councillor surgeries, parties, fund raising, resident assistance etc.

HBTSR HELPS PEOPLE SEEKING ASYLUM/REFUGE BY PROVIDING THEM WITH OUTINGS TO THE COUNTRYSIDE FOR LEISURE, FRIENDSHIP AND SKILL EXCHANGE. WE HELP OUR OWN LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO MEET PEOPLE FROM OTHER CULTURES AND BE ENRICHED BY THIS. WE SPEAK PUBLICLY AND RAISE FUNDS. WE APPROACH LOCAL ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES TO IMPROVE POLICY AND SUPPORT.WE PROVIDE SOME EXPERT ASSISTANCE AND COLLECT GOODS.

Community Centre for use by village and surrounding area for all age groups for sports, fund raising, keep fit, marshall arts and many other social activities, including Day Centre. There is also a library, play group and Doctors branch surgery on the site.

The Charity has been established for the preservation, protection and promotion of good health amongst the patients registered with The Roseland Surgeries, Cornwall, by providing information and equipment together with social activities to reduce isolation.

A wide range of activites are available and suitable to this age group eg, social events, day and evenings out, crafts, snooker, Gardening, daily luncheon club, quizes, seated keep fit, We are always open to and willing to try new activies

We provide social interaction for ladies over 60 to prevent isolation and loneliness by providing weekly bingo sessions, day trips and monthly social evenings. The ladies get out and about, support each other and provide companionship and social interaction.

We provide loving support, in a variety of ways, including Support Groups, not only for people across the whole width of the gender diversity spectrum, but also for family, friends and significant others. We provide a safe, private venue for people to come and socialise, make friends, laugh and just be themselves in a fearless environment.

We organise and coordinate a monthly programme of talks, discussions, interest group meetings, field trips, outings and social events aimed predominately at the local retirement community, with the objective of fostering life-long learning, fitness and mental welfare. All activities are run by our members.

Provides non-religious community facilities where elderly people can meet on a regular basis to socialise and participate in activities such as physical activity programmes, talks & discussions on health related topics which promote better health and wellbeing.

We aim to alleviate physical and mental distress of adults with cancer and their carers. We offer free relaxation therapies, general socialising, outings, friendship and talks at three venues each month. This helps clients to see that despite their difficulties they can maintain a reasonable quality of life and remain part of a caring community.
