Every Sunday our programs for adults and yougster to get together to advance learning skills in social activities, education and to learn and practice Islam. Every month we have our community program with parents and childrens to improve communication with everyone and to know how to protect our yougster from drugs and anti-social behaviour through Islamic faith.

The PTA run a range of social events such as discos and quiz nights for the children in school and their parents with the aim of raising money for extra equipment required by the school and not covered by the budget.

This is a primary school Parent-Teacher Association that raises money to help support the school. Fundraising events include summer and Christmas fairs, social events and sponsored events.

The objective of Victory Missions London is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through various spiritual and social activities. The Church also intends to reach out to children and young people in the community through training and educational programs. Other objectives include providing charitable support to members and outsiders that may require urgent support.

Fund raising and social activities for the parents, pupils and friends of Harwell Primary School

Door to door transport for those in need using volunteer drivers. Shopping buses with escorts for those who wish to shop for themselves but need assistance with accessible transport and carrying bags. Shopping for the housebound. Social activities for the lonely with transport provided, using accessible transport buses if needed.

The building is used as a community facility current regular users include a fitness club, twirlers, 2 table tennis clubs, a slimming world, s special needs art and social group and a steel drum band. It is also popular for children's birthday parties and for social events by local communmity groups and is utilised for church events.

The hall provides facilities for individuals and local groups to meet, participate in activities, exercise, socialise and access information technology. Activities include art classes, badminton, bowls, dog training, WI, garden club, Friendly Friday lunch club, etc. The Hall is hired out for other local functions and to groups and is accessible to individuals requiring a secure meeting place.

Running and caring for the village hall which is an essential part of life in this rural community. Regular fund raising is organised and social events such as the recent Jubilee celebrations.

Singing together as a choir for fun and friendship. Also giving concerts to raise funds for our chosen annual charity. To also sing at other charity fund raising events. To promote singing and friendship within the community to anyone who wants to join us.

To manage the running of the local village hall for use by local groups and to maintain the hall. To actively raise funds for the upkeep of the hall so that it available for village use. To encourage social activities in the village community.

We are dedicated to provide a supportive community for individuals living with disabilities and their families through a range of networking events, support groups, face to face activities, providing advice and resources, support and friendship, whilst promoting an inclusive environment to those we serve.

This charity exists to provide a venue for other organisations within and without the two villages to use. It also arranges social events most of which also raise funds for the running of the community centre and recreation ground.

Around 8 social events held each year for parishioners and their friends. Several education classes including music, art & history. Hall can be hired for a range of activities including parish council meetings, art exhibitions, private parties. The main aims of these activities are to maintain and develop this historic building as a focal point for all members of the community.

To provide a means of social and recreational facilities to all persons residing within the parishes of Corse & Staunton and their invited guests.To foster, develop and control the pursuit of amateur sport encouraging an atmosphere of goodwill and friendship.To encourage active participation by all elements of the community, in particular, the young and female members.

We provide one day a week where elderly people come and enjoy a day companionship and entertainment, We supply morning refreshments, lunch, games entertainment and occasional outings

The U3A movement encourages its members to share knowledge and talents with each other in informal learning interest groups. This self help model empowers members to create opportunities to learn in ways that suit them best. As a result, members contribute to a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities in an atmosphere of mutual support and companionship. Members study for enjoyment.

Community centre for the use of people of the Parish of Shirland & Higham without distinction of political/religious/race/gender etc for recreation and leisure with the object of improving condintions and quality of life. Fund raising, hiring hall out with a discount for Parishioners to make it affordable to everyone. Running groups for young and old and organizing social events.
