The Amesbury Men's Shed promotes social inclusion by by preventing people, particularly but not exclusively men, aged 18 or over, within the Amesbury and surrounding areas, from becoming socially excluded, through the provision of facilities in which they can meet to undertake creative, physical or recreational activities, learn and pass on skills and support each other socially.

The activities of our charity includes Sunday church service, youth & young adult small group bible studies, youth & young adult social activities, music lessons, joining in community events, training for young ministers, prayer meetings.

Management of our village hall for the use of village groups and rental for parties, filming and other social activities.

The Queen Anne First School Parents & Friends Association raises funds by holding events, including a Christmas Fayre, Summer Fayre and various Social Events. The funds used to purchase items of equipment and educational experiences for the children of the school.

The Hastings Sierra Leone Friendship Link was founded in 2003 to help Hastings SL to recover from the devastation it suffered during the Rebel War, and to build a relationship between Hastings UK and Hastings SL. The Link carries out regeneration projects in the village; supports links between community groups and schools; and plans projects in the areas of health and economic regeneration.

Supporting local culture and religious groups and a venue for public meetings forums and neighbourhood support groups

We help adults experiencing mental health difficulties by providing peer group support, encouraging social interaction and providing activities and experiences to improve wellbeing and increase confidence. We hold two friendly and inclusive sessions each week in Honiton where you can drop in, be with others and join in activities if you wish. Sessions are free. Phone support is also available.

Activities currently taking place at the village hall are:- Nursery, Mums and Tots, Summer Play Schemes, over 50's Bowling Club, T'ai Chi, Tunies, Pilates, Social events eg. BBQ's, Discos, Parties etc. Dance and Ballet Classes, Cheer Leaders Group. Committees meeting place.

The School Association raises money to enhance the learning experience of pupils at St Mary's, Puddletown. Money raised is used to to fund equipment, resources and experiences for the students and to subsidise school trips to reduce the cost for our families. We raise money by holding social events for the students and families and run larger community events such as the Puddletown Plod.

TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF RECREATIONAL, CHARITABLE AND SOCIAL GROUPS AND FOR THE SCHOOL.THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE SEEK TO PROVIDE COST-EFFECTIVE FACILITIES TO MEET A WIDER RANGE OF ACTIVITIES E.G, WEDDING RECEPTIONS AND MORE SOCIAL ACTIVITIES). THE COMMITTEE HAS BEEN ABLE TO HOLD HIRE RATES FOR THE COMING YEAR. CONTRACT WITH NYCC TO PROVIDE TRAINING VENUE.

We provide social and advocacy services for people with learning difficulties at our premises at Friendship House.

We are a members' club based at a fully equipped workshop in Brampton, Cumbria. Membership is open to all adults in the wider community and our members are mainly retired/semi-retired. We work on our own projects with help and guidance from a fully qualified tutor. In addition to our weekly workshops, we hold social events for members and open days for the public.

The Umbrella Club is a targeted project for young people aged 10 to 19 with hidden disabilities; defined as any disability that is not immediately apparent upon meeting the young person, e.g. ASD, ADHD or Mental Illness. We provide a safe, nurturing and positive environment where young people can meet, socialise, make new contacts and friends, learn and cultivate and sense of belonging

Raising income through social activities and providing grants to local worthy causes.

TO PROVIDE A WEEKLY SOCIAL ACTIVITY FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE WITH FRIENDSHIP, ENTERTAINMENT, INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE WITH PERSONAL PROBLEMS, TO PROVIDE TRIPS TO PLACES OF INTEREST, THEATRES ETC. TO PROVIDE TRANSPORT, WHERE REQUIRED.
