Provision of seven local Trussell Trust seeded foodbank distribution centres for the supply of emergency food parcels to local clients referred to the foodbank via frontline welfare and community support agencies. In addition we provide signposting referrals to other support agencies who may be able to assist the clients out of their particular crisis.

To provide support for the relief of the mental and physical distress of people who have experienced sexual abuse and to provide the advancement of education of the public in the nature of sexual abuse and its effect on those who have been subject to it. These services are mainly provided through therapeutic counselling,training and advocacy and collaborative work with relevant other agencies.

Home-Start Oxford offers support, friendship, and practical help to families with a child under five, and particularly families who are vulnerable, isolated, under stress, often with complex needs, through home visiting by trained volunteers and other services.The charity's purpose is to help children by supporting parents to grow in confidence and give their children a good start in life.

The advancement of education for children and young people in areas which lack quality teachers, both in poverty affected countries and among displaced and migrant populations, by training volunteer teachers to work in schools and communities with the aim of creating employment opportunities and increasing the skill base of unemployed young people and enhancing educational provision for children

The activities of the charity includes the advancement of the Christian faith by proclamation and example, action in the local community and involvement with other churches in the city and region, the relief of unemployment, the prevention or relief of poverty, the promotion of education, the relief of sickness and preservation of health and the provision of recreational facilities.

The relief of sickness of children with cancer and leukaemia receiving treatment in the Tiger Ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, London or such other hospitals or organisations as the trustees may determine, by the provision of financial support to such persons and their families suffering hardship during their time of illness, and by any other charitable means

We offer victims-survivors of domestic abuse an animal fostering service to remove a significant barrier which prevents victims-survivors from leaving. We empower victims-survivors to access the vital safety and support they need before being reunited with their much-loved animals. We contribute to research, policy development and education around the link between domestic abuse and animal abuse.

Working at grassroots level in deprived neighbourhoods to provide services and activities aimed at improving the quality of life for local people via the management of independent community centres. We work with entire communities with projects, services and activities that are responsive to local needs and cover a diverse range of subjects.

Family Based Solutions supports parent/carers who are abused by their children in Enfield, Haringey and Barnet. We aim to raise awareness of this mainly hidden form of abuse. We support the whole family to end the abuse in the home and improve family relationships. We support families who are survivors of domestic abuse with the aim of ending the inter-generational cycle of abuse.

The objectives of the Charity are to relieve those in need and in particular the sick and those in poor health and to advance public education but not exclusively by:a)promoting the christian ministry of healing and other therapiesb)providing counselling,retreats and both educational and training coursesc)providing pastoral care for the benefit of the whole community

Surplus to Supper is a charity working locally, with a mission statement to bridge the gap between food waste and food poverty. We take surplus food from across the food industry and provide it to local front-line charities and community groups and therefore provide relief to people who are in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship and social circumstances.

To relieve persons in Warrington and surrounding areas who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by the provision of food, in such ways as the trustees see fit.

The charity's activities are to support the advancement of the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Faith by any means whatsoever including-but not limited to-the preaching & proclamation of the Christian Gospel and the teaching of Christian doctrine,the prevention or relief of poverty and to advance and support education by teaching basic life skills for improved employability.

NOTDEC UK provides financial support for the work of NOTDEC Uganda. Motherless babies and abandoned children are cared for in our purpose built facility, before returning to relatives in the community. NOTDEC UK funds, the staffing and running costs of the residential facility, the children's food, clothing, education and medical treatment, plus support in the wider community.
