Gateshead Older People's Assembly offers opportunities for over 50s to maintain their health and independence through socialising, exercising, and learning. Furniture Re-use Project originally set up to relieve hardship by providing low cost furniture and appliances to those in need. Provision of work experience and training for individuals seeking employment. Increasingly important is our environmental role in diverting items from landfill.

The aim of the charity is to improve the lives of children and teenagers from disadvantaged families as well as adults, enabling them to lead their lives with dignity and respect. The charity seeks to provide for their physical needs such as food, clothing, duvets and pillows and other essential household necessities as well as giving grants to fund therapy, special education and other necessities

We provide services to residents of our local community using our team of volunteers, Community Transport, Lunch Club, Shopping and prescription delivery, information and support. Working with other organisations and service providers.

-Every week we go out in the streets to invite members of the community to attend our services and to cater to the needs of the people we meet.-We support varying agencies in the local area which deals with drugs, alcohol, housing or support with their children.-We assist charities like Salvation Army, with food, clothing and bedding for the homeless in the community and other parts of London.

Provide free community based services that facilitate social inclusion, while promoting a healthy and active retirement for local older people. Activities include information and advice through our telephone helpline, local information points, website, events and talks, through to participation in our healthy lifestyle clubs, befriending groups and on-going welfare benefits and advocacy casework.

Our aim is to build a community hub in a new housing development of 5000 residents with no facilities. We are a community-led project. Building a hub will deliver multiple services to meet the needs of the community. We want to empower people, give opportunity, improve physical & mental health & wellbeing, bring social inclusion to combat loneliness promoting a better way of life for all.

To relieve in cases of need, hardship or distress persons who are or have been employed or engaged by Chelsea FC plc or its associated entities and the families and dependents of such persons including, but without limitation, any person who is or has been a player, manager or member of the medical, coaching or scouting staff whether at first team, reserve team or youth academy level.

Counselling. Training/talks/information and guidance about the effects and treatment of survivors for other professionals. Advocacy support and information for survivors going through the Criminal Justice System. Outreach to women who may be involved in sex work, be homeless, be ex offenders or may have experienced FGM.

We provide a day care centre for Elderly people to prevent decline in physical/mental health. We run other projects for the Elderly and 50 plus Local Population in Enfield and Surrounding Boroughs. We provide transport, health promotion programs and activities including yoga, health talks and recreational pursuits/educational awareness. We assist carers/families to access Health and Social Care.

Beauty Banks is a charity focused on supporting adults, children and babies living in hygiene poverty in the UK. We supply brand new essential toiletries to charities and other organisations around the country, including food banks, homeless shelters, family support centres, women's refuges, mental health trusts, care leavers' support centres and schools.
