Home-Start East Surrey offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in East Surrey and its environs. We recruit and train volunteers who are parents themselves to visit families with at least one child under five at home, and offer them informal, friendly and confidential support.

St Thomas Church, Swansea is committed to serving the whole of the City of Swansea to help people reach full potential. We love our neighbour by serving them through our foodbank, night-shelter, baby basics charity, surplus food distribution, mentoring programme and youth and childrens activities. Brunswick Methodist Church is part of the Methodist Church of Great Britain. Our strap line is 'The Church at the heart of the city'. We are the successors to John Wesley's [founder of the Methodist Church] first purpose built Methodist Church, we work to bring about change in people through a love of Christ, we act with Christian social justice, teaching, preaching and being a place of refuge.

The Counselling Centre gives support to vulnerable people in the community by providing them with the tools to make decisions that will help them, their families, friends and others. Adults and children are helped through a personalised and sympathetic counselling service. Homeless/vulnerable people and substance users are helped providing meals, clothes, advocacy and advice.

Provide buildings, open space and facilities for members of the community to meet for Christian prayer and worship, Christenings, weddings and funerals, social gatherings, playgroups, mothers & toddler groups, childrens clubs, youth groups, coffee bar, elderly meals, and foodbank etc. We provide human resources, services and finance for these activities. We also assist overseas aid/famine relief.

A CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY PROJECT, MAINLY SUPPORTING RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF WOLVERHAMPTON,PLUS OTHER AREAS.WE DELIVER FREE FOOD PARCELS,TOILETRIES,HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES,& OTHER ITEMS WHEN AVAILABLE TO FAMILIES/SINGLE PEOPLE IN SEVERE FINANCIAL DIFFICULTIES.WE AIM TO PROVIDE 3 DAYS OF NON-PERISHABLE FOOD TO ALL IN THE HOUSEHOLD.WE PARTNER WITH STATUTORY/VOLUNTARY AGENCIES WHO ASSESS/REFER THOSE IN NEED.

Art and Crafts, Cafe and catering for events, and learning and training support (e.g. learning to use computers and the internet). Provision of space to local community groups and other organisations. Projects and activities surrounding social isolation and community engagement along with other issues where identified and appropriate.

WHEEL BASED EDUCATION AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITHIN bIRMINGHAM AND THE WEST MIDLANDS

We are a grassroot charity working in the UK and abroad to alleviate poverty in all its forms. Our current projects include support for the homeless, sponsorship of orphans, water well projects, house rebuilding as well as training and empowerment initiatives.

We work with women for social inclusion, who are isolated, marginalised, at risk of exploitation or homeless, vulnerably housed or in supported housing. We do outreach on the streets in Bournemouth to meet girls at their most vulnerable. We run a cafe and creative lifestyle sessions 10 times a week where we eat together, collaboratively sign post to support services and run art/craft activities.

1.1 The relief of financial hardship, either generally or individually, through the provision of grants, goods, or services, mainly but not exclusively for the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers, and those leaving prison into homelessness.1.2 To promote the efficiency and effectiveness of other charities/groups, mainly but not exclusively, by the provision of information, advice and support.

b:Friend matches volunteer befrienders with isolated, elderly neighbours in the community. The aim is to reduce social isolation by re-engaging at risk individuals with their community through one-to-one befriending partnerships and community group social events.

The Midi Music Company is a registered charity/company limited by guarantee, providing a space for all children and young people aged five to thirty to be inspired to get into music and the creative industries. MMC's team includes experienced industry professionals who deliver cutting edge creative and inspiring projects, enriching the artistic process for those who are socially disadvantaged.

Our mission is the relief of hardship and the protection of persons with mental health issues or mild learning disabilities, through the provision of supported housing accommodation.We provide residents with an innovative and comprehensive service in a respectful environment.
