The Prevention Or Relief Of Poverty

we are a faith based organisation involved in helping people discover and fulfil their potentials by restoring their hope and confidence. we are involved in transforming our community by providing services to those in need and creating a vibrant environment for people to socialise.

Relief of poverty, distress and suffering, in particular by provision of grant funding to aid needy or disadvantaged children in their early years mainly up to 10 with the limit being 18. The Ellerdale Trust does not fund individuals. Overseas aid no longer considered.

East Durham Veterans Trust supports veterans and their families from the East Durham area, through three main areas.Firstly sign posting to other organisations that can offer practical support, this includes finance, housing etc.Secondly through Social inclusion and finally to support veterans and their families with mental health coaching and wellbeing.

The provision of housing accommodation for persons in financial hardship with preference given firstly to those residing in the parishes of Edgware and Little Stanmore and secondly to those who are previous residents of these parishes.

We are an international Christian partnership working in 20 of the world's poorest nations, meeting both physical and spiritual hungers. Our primary emphasis is on long-term development among the extremely poor, recognising their dignity, creativity and ability to solve their own problems.

THE RELIEF OF CHILDREN AFFECTED BY AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDER (ASD) AND THEIR FAMILIES, IN SOUTHEND ON SEA, ESSEX AND THE SURROUNDING AREA, BY THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT, INFORMATION, OPPORTUNITIES FOR RESPITE, SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND NETWORKING.WE HOLD WEEKLY DROP IN SESSIONS FOR THE FAMILIES AND CARERS OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM, IN ADDITION DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS WE ORGANISE SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.

The distribution of the Bible & other Christian literature, and by all forms of broadcasting media. The advancement of education on the basis of Christian principles. Also the relief of persons in conditions of need, hardship or distress, or who are aged or sick.

TMTP is a unique model; is a UK based strategic citywide holistic pioneering work addressing the underlying causes of poverty; improving health; connecting communities and improving the prospects of those living in the UK's most deprived communities by way of being a catalyst for the increased provision of skills training and the creating of jobs for the long term unemployed.

Preschool for children aged 2 to 5 years in area of social deprivation offering full and part day care term time only

The Charity operates 18 Almshouses for the poor and needy in the town of Witney, Oxfordshire. The Charity also provides grants for those in need within the area of West Oxfordshire.

Activities in the year working towards the Charity's aim of developing the Margate Caves Site as a learning and community facility, contributing to the regeneration of one of the most deprived areas in England. Activities included consultations held with local people throughout the development of our project to ensure that we are meeting local needs and the community is engaged with the project.

The Charity's object and its principal activity continues to be that providing grants for the enhancement of education religion and relief of poor.

Our mission is to provide social networks that offer friendship and hospitality. Our main aim is to minimise social isolation and loneliness. Lutterworth's Age Concern working for people in later life of Lutterworth and the surrounding villages, making later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience, aiming to combat isolation and loneliness. The CoCo's Foundation was set up for the prevention or relief of poverty in Africa by providing grants, itemsand services to individuals in need and/or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty, byproviding Water, Food and Shelter.

The prevention of cruelty to animals and the care and protection of animals in need of such care by reason of sickness, maltreatment and poor circumstances

The Hope Foundation is a charity based in Liverpool which exists to combat homelessness and relieve poverty through its various projects.

We provide small grants and a range of services which foster social inclusion and well-being for forcibly displaced people in the Surrey borough of Elmbridge and surrounding area. Through our community outreach activity we inform and educate the local population about the issues relating to forcibly displaced people and their dependants.
