Al Madad Foundation provides safe spaces for education for disadvantaged and refugee children in the Middle East

St Martin's Centre is located on the border of Byker and Walker in the east end of Newcastle upon Tyne. We provide a range of activities for all ages, with activities and support for young children and families, an Ofsted-rated outstanding nursery, volunteering opportunities for local residents, daily activities for older adults and befriending and wellbeing support, including emergency food.

The upkeep of a synagogue and arranging adult educational and leisure activities. The charity also provides grants for the poor and needy.

The principal objects of the charity are the promotion of the relief of persons resident in or around the London Borough of Islington in need or in distress by reason of poverty, and the advancement of the education of such people in the fields of welfare rights and debt.

We are an independent charity working with survivors of rape, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse and their families. We offer a completely confidential service and support women, men, young people and children.All counsellors and support workers at RoSA have received comprehensive specialist training and work to BACP guidelines. We are the founder members of The Survivors Trust.

Magic Bus takes children living in poverty in India on the journey from eduction to livelihood. During this long term engagement, our mentors work with children using activities as metaphors to change behaviour in the areas of education and livelihood. Magic Bus works with 360,000 children and 5,500 youth mentors in 23 states in India.

Our mission is to support migrants and disadvantaged Britons to access employment justice, and improve their social mobility. To achieve this we: (1) provide free and confidential legal advice; (2) provide training, tools, and public-facing resources that empower communities; and (3) publish robust research and policy recommendations, that challenge the root causes of injustice in the long-term.

The charity focuses on supporting charitable causes within communities with a view to improving the lives of disadvantaged residents of those communities, for example, by supporting the improvement and maintenance of social housing, promoting education, training and skills development and youth diversion programmes.

The focus of our activities continues to support those that are socially excluded and develop plans and activities to benefit the community served. This benefits young people by developing their self-confidence and social skills alongside practical IT skills and life skills. We welcome all young people regardless of personal background, faith, gender or personal circumstances.

To offer assessment and rehabilitation services to blind and partially sighted people accross Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton. Hold the register of blind and partially sighted people on behalf of the local authority. Offer a training and transcription service to outside agencies. Offer health and social activities to service users.

THF is a youth charity with the mission of transforming the lives of disadvantaged young people by creating sporting and educational opportunities as well as improving mental and physical health together with our partners. We directly deliver a range of sport and education programmes and we also provide financial assistance in the form of grants to charities and registered community organisations.

We work with disadvantaged unemployed young people aged 18-24 years (NEETs). We deliver a 5 week training programme which is supplemented with structured work experience in the supportive retail environment of our Circle Collective streetwear & vintage stores in Hackney, Lewisham and Canary Wharf. We then support the young people into jobs through our networks of corporate and local partnerships

Tackling the causes of poverty, disadvantage and inequality across the city of Chester and the surrounding area through funding to charitable and community organisations; provision of almshouse accommodation; and by sponsoring educational bursaries.
