We provide friendship ,social activities and talks for Holocaust survivors in Leeds; promote and deliver Holocaust education at the Holocaust Learning & Exhibition Centre in Huddersfield and at schools, colleges, universities and community groups through survivors and volunteer speakers in the north of England; provide advice and guidance to external organisations on Holocaust related matters.

South Liverpool Foodbank gives food to people in food crisis. Each client visiting one of our five Foodbank food distribution centres with a food ?voucher? is given a food parcel comprising sufficient food for 3 full days. Food parcel size is determined by the number of adults and children listed on the food voucher. The food provided is tinned or packeted and within the Best Before Date.

Emmaus is a secular charity providing a home, work & training for homeless or socially excluded people through social enterprise businesses trading in donated furniture & household goods. Residents may remain with Emmaus for as long as they need and are then helped to find jobs & housing. EHR can accommodate 23 residents and employs a small staff team to support residents & manage the business.

Project 17 works to end destitution among migrant children. We work with families experiencing exceptional poverty to improve their access to local authority support. We provide advice, advocacy and support for individuals. We build capacity in other organisations and we campaign for the improved implementation of statutory support.

We work with victims, perpetrators and children that are are/have lived with domestic and sexual abuse. We offer free, long term practical and emotional support to individuals and families across West Cumbria. Our service includes a confidential helpline, 1-1 professional counselling for victims, perpetrators and children, group support for adult victims and children and young people.

Dartmouth United Charities provides almshouse accommodation to poor persons of good character, who have lived in Dartmouth for two years before their appointment, or in exceptional circumstances, live outside the area but are otherwise qualified.It also makes grants to individuals and to organisations supporting Dartmouth residents who are in need, hardship or distress.

Food For All distributes around 6,000 free, nutritionally balanced meals to the homeless and disadvantaged on a daily basis. FFA targets the homeless, single parents, the elderly, the unemployed, people suffering from mental and physical disabilities and the marginalised. FFA is based on the philosophy of community self-help.

We support, advise, represent, advocate & campaign for unpaid adult carers living or working in Gateshead. We aim for carers to have increased choice and control in their life, improved health and wellbeing, financial wellbeing, and are treated with respect and dignity. We provide training & short-break activities that reduce isolation and help carers to have a life of their own outside of caring.

Originally established in 1992 Mosac supports non-abusing parents and carers of sexually abused children through a range of services including telephone helpline, information, advice, advocacy, support groups, counselling and play therapy.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE EMPLOYABILITY, AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS, HOLIDAY PROVISION, JOB SEEKING ASSISTANCE, GUIDANCE. ALSO WE HAVE A WELFARE BENEFITS AND MONEY ADVICE PROJECT FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY.

THE TRUST WAS CREATED FOLLOWING THE MURDER OF 20-YEAR-OLD HOLLIE GAZZARD IN 2014 BY AN EX-PARTNER. HGT HELPS REDUCE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE THROUGH CREATING AND DELIVERING PROGRAMMES ON DOMESTIC ABUSE AND PROMOTING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS TO SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES. IN ADDITION, IT FUNDS HAIRDRESSING TRAINING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO MAY NOT OTHERWISE HAVE THE FUNDS TO STUDY

A social action centre supporting vulnerable people in crisis. The centre provides day care services for the homeless and people in emergency accommodation including a food bank, clothing/bedding/kitchen appliances, a shower, washing machine and dryer, community cafe, TV lounge and garden.

Makes grants to charitable organisations around the world whose purposes are to help young or disadvantaged people, especially anyone suffering deprivation and discrimination, such as poor, homeless and vulnerable women and children, minority communities, particularly where people are affected by: poverty, a lack of education, malnutrition and disease

We collect food from the public via Churches, schools and supermarkets and through a voucher scheme held by frontline agencies registered with Wirral Foodbank who signpoint clients to us, we provide free three days worth of food for individuals and families in Crisis.
