W.I. is based on the ideals of fellowship, truth, tolerance and justice. To improve and develop conditions of rural life and advance the education of women in citizenship in public questions both national and international, in music drama and other cultural subjects plus instruction and training in all branches of agriculture handicrafts home economics health and social welfare.

During the year ended 31st March, the groups objectives and aims were to provide scouting for youth in the Perivale area by teaching skills which may benefit their future careers and to promote good citizenship. Activities included each sections own weekly meetings and outings, participation in several events organised by Greenford and District Scout Council and camps for the cub and scout section

The Club operates locally. Individuals, Groups, and Charities are eligible for Grants . The Club also subscribes to LCI Disaster Fund. Collaboration and liaison with schools, surgeries, hospital, clubs, charities and agencies ensure promotion of good citizenship. Fundraising includes annual Fun Run, Fun Swim, Golf Day, Easter Egg Raffle, and collections. Social events also generate extra funds.

The objectives of the Society is to promote high standards of planning, civic pride, public education in the geography, history and architecture within Peterborough. Also to secure protection and to preserve the development and improvement of features of historic, cultural or public interest throughout the city and its' environs.

The WI's activities benefit the public by advancing the education and citizenship of women and enabling them to work together in their communities to put into practice the ideals for which the Women's Institute stands.

The Advancement of the Christian Faith in the United Kingdom and oversees and relieve persons in poverty, illness and depression through biblical principles and inspirational music therapy resulting in productive living, good health and great Socio Economic Recovery. Regeneration of Inmates and rehabilitation of Ex convicts via Christian principles resulting in good citizenship and law abiding.

Undertake activities to enable women interested in issues associated with rural life, to improve their education in citizenship, public questions, music, culture handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare and to improve rural life.

To promote good citizenship & mutual helpfulness among ex-members of the Boys Brigade and youth organisations. Specifically sport/recreation and to assist other charities & voluntary bodies and make grants to any youth organisation. Provides buildings and facilities for the execution of such activities.

To promote the advancement of citizenship and community development for the public benefit by working with people in and around Portsmouth who are socially excluded on the grounds of their ethnic origin, religion, belief or creed, in particular members of the Sudanese community, to relieve the needs of such people and assist them to integrate into society.

THE PRINCIPAL AIM OF THE ABERYSTWYTH SILVER BAND IS TO SUPPORT LOCAL TOURISM, CIVIC DUTY AND CHARITY FUND-RAISING EVENTS THROUGH THE MEDIA OF MUSIC. IT PERFORMS IN ASSOCIATION WITH LOCAL CHORAL SOCIETIES IN PARTICULAR TO PROMOTE THIS AIM.
