Saving Macedonian Strays is a voluntary organisation, set up with the aim of rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming stray animals in Macedonia by providing love, shelter, food and veterinary care. We support a group of young animal rescuers and help to re-home dogs and cats into loving forever homes in the UK and across Europe.

The Society provides accommodation at private boarding kennels and catteries together with veterinary treatment for dogs and cats abandoned or unwanted by their owners within the Staffordshire Moorlands. To relieve the suffering of animals in need of care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain a rescue and rehoming service for the reception, care and treatment of stray dogs and cats from Romania who by reason of abandonment, neglect or mistreatment are in need of such care and attention.

TVAW aims to rescue and rehome abandoned, illtreated and unwanted cats and kittens. Veterinary treatment is provided and all animals are neutered. The cats are cared for individually in foster homes until suitable homes are found. We also operate a lost and found register and a low cost neutering scheme. All of the work is carried out by volunteers and funded by donations.

World Animal Friends grants donations to small rescue shelters and individuals abroad to fund animal rescue work.We donate funds for veterinary treatment, spaying, vaccinations, animal food, kennels and other items relared to caring for homeless cats and dogs. We arrange cat adoptions.

Rescue and rehome cats.

We are a volunteer run Rescue who take in and rehome abandoned cats and also feral kittens which are socialised before rehoming. We operate trap neuter release where we assist in trapping and neutering programmes of feral colonies and farm cats. Where feral cats cannot stay where they are they are rehomed on suitable smallholdings, stables or farms.

Our main activity related to rehoming and rehabilitating a variety of animals, including primarily dogs, cats & small animals. We also actively promote and run local neutering campaigns, liaise with and talk to local groups regarding education around responsible animal ownership and welfare, and support local families at times of hardship with both veterinary care and feeding of pets if required.

RSPCA West Gwynedd Branch runs an almoning scheme offering free or subsidised neutering of cats and dogs to owners on means-tested benefits, while funds last.
