The principal activity of the charity is to provide disabled people with the opportunity to ride and/or carriage drive to benefit their health and wellbeing in the Canterbury area in particular by assisting in the provision of horses to Cobbes Meadow Riding for the Disabled Group or such other charitable entity for exclusively charitable purposes.

To improve the self confidence and self esteem of socially and/or economically disadvantaged young people by providing horse riding lessons.

National award scheme (UK) to practically help and encourage people aged 50+ to engage in volunteering and community development, learning activities, the arts, heritage & culture, sports and conservation open to people from all kinds of backgrounds and circumstances, especially those with ongoing health and mobility problems.

Provide therapy for disabled people through carriage driving. Giving them the opportunity of controlling directly the pony and vehicle.

Pony/Horse Riding Experience for handicapped/disabled children and adults

The object of the CIO is the restoration and preservation of Wolfeton Riding House for the benefit of the public. The Riding House was listed as Grade II* on 26 January 1956 (entry number 1119102). The building is of national architectural and historic significance, being one of only six Riding Houses built in England for haute ecole dressage.

Horse Riding for children with disabilities.

To provide education in all aspects of Natural Horse Care and Training - working towards Certification that is accepted worldwide via the Parelli System. Enabling private clients & exchange students to broaden and strengthen their knowledge in the equine world. Social and leisure Club for anyone over 16 years of age with a learning disability who would benefit from coming to Club. We also have several outings throughout the year. Our activities include dancing, bingo, talent nights, art, snooker, darts, indoor bowls, model horse racing plus special events such as Valentines Dance, New Years Dance and party nights. We operate in the Maidstone area.

Tuesday and Friday morning sessions only in a large open-air arena. 3 half hour periods using up to 4 ponies. Instructing chilldren from local schools, mainly primary because of the weight limit on ponies. Volunteers are trained in the jobs that they prefer and work initially with more experienced volunteers. We a variety of equipment to aid our riders .

Provision of pony riding activities for disabled children

We provide horse riding activities for children and adults with disabilities. The Group is based at Emley Moor.

The Trust will advance the public education about the old railway line of the Garrett engineering works in Leiston by restoring and preserving part of line and running railway vehicles drawn by horses or locomotives, including the historic steam shunting locomotive "Sirapite". The trust will have open days providing demonstrations, activities and written, graphic and oral information.

Red Horse Vale Community First Responder is a CFR ("Community First Responder") scheme covering villages and surrounding areas in the south east of Warwickshire, including Alderminster; Armscote; Crimscote; Ettington; Fulready; Halford; Kineton; Newbold-on-Stour; Pillerton Hersey; Pillerton Priors; Tredington; Wellesbourneand other neighbouring villages.

The main activity undertaken is to provide disabled children aged 4-11 years old with an opportunity to ride in an indoor or outdoor school in order to improve their balance, muscle tone and social skills. There is also a mechanical horse for children who, for a variety of reasons are unable to ride a pony.

The Group works with children with a range of disabilities and promotes general good health and well being through interaction with the ponies, and by learning to ride them. They achieve success in riding the ponies with adult specialist training and support, which in turn builds confidence in the individual. Children improve their core balance and large motor skills.
