Animals Charities

The trust aims to provide financial assistance to charities who provide in particular support to children, elderly people and other vulnerable individuals particularly but not exclusively within the Northamptonshire area. The trust also has an interest in supporting equine related charities particularly those within the aims outlined above.

The Horse Rescue Fund aims to prevent and relieve cruelty to horses, ponies and donkeys, to protect them from unnecessary suffering and to advance the education of the public in their proper care and treatment. To this end we rescue any neglected or badly treated equines, restore them to full health and carry out all necessary rehabilitation to enable us to place them on loan in approved homes.

Rescue Kitties is a feral, stray and at-risk cat charity that operates in the Greater Manchester area.We take in injured, lost and abandoned cats and we are committed to helping cats and kittens that are the most in need.No case is too hard for us to handle and we provide them with food, love, shelter and the necessary veterinary care to get them back on their paws and on to their forever home

Willow Tree provides disabled people with a practical scheme where learners take part in a range of activities; catering, fitness, dog training, DIY skills including furniture restoration. Growing vegetables and taking part in healthy living and exercise thus improving their quality of life, level of fitness and reducing their isolation, hence increasing their sense of purpose and value.

Mansfield Cat Rescue rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes stray, feral and unwanted cats in Mansfield Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

The CATS Foundation operates in England and Wales and supports families affected by Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff disease. We provide equipment that affected patients need, respite holidays, a support network for patients and their families and information on care, emotional support and research development. The charity also supports research into a possible cure for these devastating diseases.

The Charity is a Breed Society maintaining a Stud Book, is a recognised Equine Passport Issuing Organisation and seeks to foster and keep pure the Fell pony breed, and to circulate knowledge and general information about the breed. The Fell pony is recognised as a rare breed by the RBST.

To make grants to registered cat charities who have sanctuaries in the Blackpool area, for cats neutered or spayed and identichipped at the same time.

London Inner City Kitties is a volunteer run, no-kill charity that takes in and rehomes abandoned cats, and those whose owners can no longer care for them. Many of the cats we take in are sick or injured and require expensive medical attention. We operate with a network of fosterers. All the donations that we receive go to pay medical bills.

Taking in and rehoming cats from broken homes, various family problems, the elderly going into homes, and can not take their cats. Occasionally some strays. Pre-home and post-home checks are carried out.

The primary object I to relieve the suffering of cats and provide them with a safe and secure environment. To take in as many injured and old cats as we can properly care for, to restore them to health and where possible find them good homes or provide sanctuary for life.

Raising awareness that a yellow ribbon on a dog's lead indicates that this dog needs space - due to being unsociable, nervous, unwell, etc. Social media campaigns and attending trade event shows. Managing and hosting a website with integrated online shop. Organising manufacture and distribution of products to customers. Promoting among local authorities and vets throughout the UK via mail.

Rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming Dobermanns in need. We keep them safe providing warmth, a bed, food, care and veterinary assistance if required. The dogs in our care want for nothing, we go above and beyond to give them the care and socialising they need.

To further the education of all those involved in the ownership and care of horses to the intent that all those involved should have access to details of the best veterinary and management practices that are conducive to the welfare of the horses concerned. This is achieved by providing support of appropriate seminars through sponsorship, travel bursaries, and individual educational bursaries.

Rose Cottage Cat Rescue rescue's and rehomes stray abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens. We also encourage and promote the neutering of all domestic and feral cats offering practical help in this area.

We will offer help and support & advice to any Dachshund or Dachshund owner who contacts usregarding a mobility issue of their dog. When finances allow we will offer the loan of equipment to anydachshund or dachshund cross breed owners who find themselves in the position of requiring it.

For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of cats and dogs in the UK and Romania in need of care and attention and in particular to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such animals

The charity works through a branch network to help feral cats by neutering colonies,relocating them when they are unwanted, providing veterinary treatment for sick or injured feral cats and rehoming kittens and tameable cats to domestic homes. It does not destroy them, as it considers this to be an ineffective and inhumane method of tackling the problem

We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs from the UK and abroad. Helping Hounds Hampshire has access to kennels where dogs are housed until they are ready for re-homing or are placed within our network of fosters. Our volunteers work in a variety of roles from working with dogs, to administrative tasks.

The object of the charity is to relieve people who are in need by reason of their age, disability, health or social circumstances, particularly, but not exclusively by the provision of therapy dogs to visits schools, care homes, hospital, hospices, libraries, courts and other similar institutions.

Blackmore Vale Riding for the Disabled offers riding on real ponies and two mechanical horses at Cherrington Farm Cottage, North Cheriton, Somerset to disabled riders in N Dorset and S Somerset.Our riders range in age from 5-74 and have a range of disabilities. We have 6 accredited coach/instructors and a pool of 50 volunteers. We operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during term time
