The Charity seeks the relief of children in Darfur, Sudan, who are in need, hardship or distress, working with local partners to provide integrated grassroots projects identified and run by the communities - water, goat and donkey loans, mosquito nets, blankets, healthcare for mothers and babies, veterinary care, education, livelihood techniques, agricultural and environmental projects.

We also educate in animal welfare and provide (therapeutic) contact opportunities for people who wouldn't normally have the chance to meet these animals. Hope Pastures is open to the public Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 3pm.

Donkey Field pre-school is a pre school run for children aged 2 1/2 to school entry. Our fund-raising events include Summer and Christmas fairs, cake and book sales and sponsored activities. Snowdonia Donkeys was established in 2013 to promote health and well-being through working and walking with donkeys in the local environment of North Wales. It is our mission to be a centre of excellence for the promotion of health and wellbeing of people and donkeys.

East Grinstead and District Lions Club (CIO) operates in the East Grinstead and surrounding areas in Sussex, Surrey and Kent, raising funds though activities by organising local events such as our May fair, Donkey Derby, Swim Night and selling secondhand books at the local Railway stations. These funds are then used to mainly provide grants for the benefit of those in need in the local community.

The Horse Rescue Fund aims to prevent and relieve cruelty to horses, ponies and donkeys, to protect them from unnecessary suffering and to advance the education of the public in their proper care and treatment. To this end we rescue any neglected or badly treated equines, restore them to full health and carry out all necessary rehabilitation to enable us to place them on loan in approved homes.

We aim to provide a permanent and holistic retirement home for horses, donkeys and other animals, whilst at the same time creating and sustaining habitats that encourage wildlife, birds and native plant species. We also aim to educate and inspire the public by example and through walks, talks and courses.
