The Society aims to present first-class performances of a wide variety of choral music, working with first rate soloists and orchestras, to educate the public in the arts and sciences of choral music and to enhance the arts culture of the town. By rehearsing great choral works, the society promotes well-being and social cohesion among its members and the audiences.

The charity provides bursaries to young people in full-time education who sing in the choir of St Mary the Virgin, Nottingham. The scholars sing for choral services during term-time and take part in concerts and recitals.

The Brighton Chamber Choir is a mixed voice choir of about 30 members. It performs three to four concerts a year, which may include a concert raising funds for a charitable organisation.

The GMPMVC gives concerts throughout the UK but mainly within the GMP area. By invitation, it has also sung in the EU.The Choir has been privileged to assist in raising many thousands of pounds for organisations and charities such as Scope, The Rainbow Trust, The Deep Sea Fishermen's Mission, Rochdale Springhill & Bury Hospices, Cancer Research UK as well as local churches and schools.

Advance the education of the public by promoting the study and practice of choral music and allied arts for the public benefit and in order to foster public knowledge and appreciation of such music and art by means of public performances in the Cheshire and Greater Manchester areas and to further such other charitable purposes for the public benefit as the Committee shall decide from time to time.

We are just a parish hall where various activities take place, serving local people such as public meetings concerts choir practice etc. We also hold annual fundraising activities to help maintain the hall.

Choral music rehearsal and performance

The Choral Evensong Trust (Charity no. 1190208) exists to see an increase of attendance at Choral Evensong services in all abbeys, cathedrals, chapels, churches, and minsters, and to celebrate its three pillars: [i] its uniqueness as a British tradition, [ii] its provision of free music in communities, and [iii] its nurturing of musical training for young singers.

Arts/Culture Musical concerts for the benefit of the General Public. We operate in Bedfordshire - Biggleswade and surrounding villages.

The choir rehearses weekly, and performs on average 2 concerts locally between September and the following May. It provides voice workshops to benefit its members, and, ultimately, its performances. It is a member of the South Cotswold Choral Group, and takes part in combined performances.

Male Voice Choir to foster and promote the education of the general public in the appreciation in all its aspects , relating to the practice,presentation and study of music in order to promote better and more widespread performance of male choral work , and to assist and support such other charitable institutions or purpose as the organisation shall determine from time to time.

Choral Society

Provision of arts, primarily choral concerts

A choir of about 60 amateur singers, trained and conducted by a professional musician who is the musical director. Weekly rehearsals, 4 concerts a year in different venues, using professional soloists & sometimes linking with other local choirs and orchestra. Provides the opportunity for singers to train & perform to a high standard & for local audiences to hear a wide variety of Choral music.

Choral concerts in the Rother and Hastings areas.

The charity runs a competitive performing arts festival covering speech, drama, singing and instrumental music.

Thanet Chamber Choir, in the socially deprived area of Thanet, performs four concerts a year of music from the Renaissance to the present day, one exclusively for charity. Rehearsals are once a week during school terms. Quiz nights are organised once or twice a year. Choir members of all ages come from Thanet or the nearer parts of Kent. The choir aims at musical excellence.

The choir exists to promote public understanding and appreciation of the arts of music through wider participation, especially by less trained or confident members of the public. We hold regular rehearsals and perform at events around the Manchester area and occasionally beyond. We are open to all regardless of musical ability.

Supporting Musical Activity in Cornwall. Grants for instrument purchase, tuition, travel, audition costs and courses for young players and singers. Predominantly classical musicians but some Brass Band and Jazz applicants considered.
