Arts Charities That specialise in Choirs

To promote, develop and maintain public education in and the appreciation of the art & science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts and recitals and by other such ways as the society through its committee shall determine from time to time.

Bromley Oecumenical Singers has three concerts each year, two with the objective of donating money to other charities both local and national and the third to raise funds for the continuation of our fund raising activities. We also have two bursary funds for assisting young musicians, generally from a church background, to further their musical studies.

CHORAL SINGING

A local mixed adult choir, providing a good quality musical experience through weekly rehearsals and public concerts, all within an equal opportunities framework.

Mount Kelly Choral Society gives people in the Tavistock area the opportunity to participate in a choir putting on public performances of choral music and to enjoy those performances at affordable cost. It is an inclusive, non-auditioned community choir.

Fordingbridge Choral Society advances public education and appreciation of music through the presentation of public concerts and recitals. It promotes the practice and enjoyment of music for recreation, holding 35-40 rehearsals a year, for members to learn about music and improve their skills. 'Come and Sing' events invite potential members to make and learn about music.

Weekly singing classes in Durham. Occasional workshops for members of the community. Concerts for other charitable purposes.

The Society encourages and provides facilities for members of the public, with the aid of a Musical Director, to learn Choral music of various types and eras for their enjoyment and entertainment, and aims to perform at least two public performances each year in the District or Town of Bungay, Suffolk.

Run weekly orchestras in Wiltshire for string players from the age of 4 upwards.Workshops run by international musicians from different fields of music.Easter chamber and orchestral courses and Summer art and chamber/orchestral courses for 4-18 year old string players.All courses are fun using lots of differents styles of music;movement and singing.

A Mixed Chamber choir of twenty or so voices based at Peterborough Cathedral. The Choir performs concerts in and around Peterborough and occasionally combines with other choirs and orchestras for joint concerts. Services are regularly sung at Peterborough and other Cathedrals and music provided for society weddings.

Performing concerts in the North Essex/South Suffolk area

Advancing, improving, developing and maintaining public education in, and appreciation of, the art of choral singing and associated musical activity, through the provision of rehearsals under skilled guidance and public performances, for the benefit of the public in the Canton district of Cardiff and surrounding areas.

To promote and develop the art of choral music in all its aspects, to help and assist various charitable bodies by presenting choral concerts in order to raise funds for them.

MIXED PROGRAMME OF CHORAL MUSIC. EXCHANGE VISITS WITH HEIDENHEIM (GERMANY) EVERY THREE YEARS. CONCERTS ANNUALLY FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOCAL CHARITIES.

To give amateur singers the opportunity to enjoy regularly the pleasure of singing choral works to a high standard

The Society gives at least two musical performances each year in the Andover area.

The entertainment of the public through organised choral concert performances focussing on widening the appreciation of choral music and on fund raising for other charities and good causes. Operates primarily, but not exclusively, in Somerset, North Somerset and the adjacent counties including South Wales.

Providing cultural and artistic development to local people. Encourage the development of musical culture of local people. Perform a wide variety of musical works to public and private audiences. Working with other local choirs and artists to promote our and their music. Provide a warm and friendly musical and social experience to a wide cross-section of people.

We offer the opportunity for members to attend any of over 50 groups covering any activity where sufficient interest has been shown, this can be in peoples homes or more formal venues, dependent on numbers interested. Members are welcome to lead an interest group or assist in it. Our activities range from Walking, Cribbage, Choir, Geneology, Art, Fishing, History & Psychology to name but a few.

Torfaen Male Choir performs at concerts the length and breadth of Britain and abroad in order to meet its primary object.

The promotion, improvement, development and maintenance of public education in and appreciation of the art & science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public choral concerts, recordings, broadcasts or through other media and means. The society shall particularly encourage and promote participation in its activities by younger, musically talented persons.

The choir promotes, improves, develops and maintains public appreciation in the musical arts generally and of choral music in particular. The choir makes donations to any charitable organisations that the committee may from time to time determine.

The principal activities of the charity are to educate the public and to promote the art of music, particular in Turkish classical music, and the charity also eneavours to support and promote the music to the public.
