The charity manages a hall erected in memory of 6 local men who gave their all during the second world war. Regular hires include RAOB, 4 dance groups, fitness training classes, mother baby and toddler classes and other small groups. The hall is available for hire for other functions at other times including Saturdays and Sundays.

Scorton Village Hall is used by the people of Scorton in Lancashire for community activities such as youth club, toddler group, WI, keep fit, dancing classes, parish council, church groups and by the local school. It is also hired out for parties, fundraising, events and fairs.

HVA's purpose is to improve the life of its inhabitants. In furtherance of this, events are held including the village fete; the village dance; the village pantomime; a quiz evening and a childrens Christmas party. It publishes an excellent quarterly magazine. The association may make grants for educational and sporting endeavours from a trust established for the benefit of young people.

For the benefit of the people of Brandesburton and the surrounding area the Hall provides facilities for recreation and leisure time activities with the object of improving the life of residents. The community hall rents the hall to regular and occasional hirers. We have a wide range of activities suitable for all ages.Bingo, Tae Kwondo, Ballet, Tap, Musical Theatre, Drama, .WI. Baby Ballet Class, Cadoxton Nursery School, Cadoxton Primary School, Fetes, Parties, and general socialising.

Bayford Memorial Hall is located on Ashendene Road, Bayford SG13 8PX and is run by a non-profit making organisation. The main hall can accommodate 100 seated / 100 dancing and is host to a variety of functions.

We organise an annual musical and drama festival in Carlisle. Entries are mainly from young people but there are classes for adults. Musical classes cover singing and instrumental playing. We are members of the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music Dance and Speech.

Hiring of Village Hall for various community activities such as Dancing Class, Dog Club, Wine & Beer Circle, Parties, Church Activities. The Hall is usually hired by the local villagers and the people in the surrounding areas.
