Arts Charities That specialise in Dance

Parents & toddler club, fitness classes, classical Indian music. Welbeing groups. Neighbourhood watch meetings, childrens dance class

We provide facilities, materials and supervision/training to children aged 6yrs-17yrs. Activities include painting, woodwork, clay, cooking plus football, rounders, snooker & table tennis etc.

PCA run activties for the senior citizens in the Porstea Area. currently these are the Bowls club, line dancing sessions and Bingo nights. in addition through out the year PCA run outings that are advertsied for users of the community centre and residents of Portsea to go on.

The Charity's objects are (1) that the Federation shall promote, and advance education in, the knowledge and practice of British Folk Songs, Dance, Music and other allied traditional activities in the Midlands area. (2) to encourage research of those activities specified in Clause (1)

Social contact for the elderly living alone - Musical & other quizzes - sing-a-long with guitar Talks with slided - keep fit whilst seated - dancing & singing with keyboard entertainer - Bring & Buy tables - Raffles - B'day parties - Xmas dinner - occasional lunches i o- Occasional outings to a theatre; for those able to do so. visit to the seaside-bingo.

WITH EFFECT FROM 1 OCTOBER 2021 THE CHARITY ACTIVITIES CEASED. PRIOR TO THAT THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDED ORGANISING ANNUAL NAVRATRI AND JALARAM JAYANTI CELEBRATIONS, ORGANISING SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES TEACHING INDIAN LANGUAGES GUJARATI AND HINDI, INDIAN DANCE CLASSES: KATHAK, BHARAT NATYAM, FOLK DANCES OF INDIA, AND MUSIC CLASSES IN HARMONIUM, SITAR AND TABLA, AND VOCAL SINGING

Performing arts activities including Dance and Colour Guard for young people in the Preston and District area.

NO APPLICATIONS PLEASE.THE CHARITY IS WINDING UP AND ALL FUNDS HAVE BEEN SPENT TO ENDOW SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES AT NATIONAL MUSIC AND ARTS INSTIUTIONS TO MAXIMISE THE CHARITABLE BENEFIT AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS OF MUSIC, DRAMA AND DANCE WHO MEET THE CRITERIA.
