THE ASSOCIATION RUNS ARDLEIGH HOUSE. IT IS AVAILABLE FOR USE BY THE INHABITANTS & THE SURROUNDING AREAS FOR RECREATION & LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES. THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE TABLE TENNIS, SHORT MAT BOWLS, YOGA, POTTERY, BALLROOM DANCING, LANGUAGES, AMATEUR DRAMATICS, BIRTHDAY & ANNIVERSARY PARTIES, WEDDING RECEPTIONS ETC. OTHER ORGANISATIONS USE THE VENUE FOR THEIR REGULAR MEETINGS.

A group of 11 sisters - some working as staff members in local parishes; One does complementary therapy & another dance workshops. Many sporting/leisure facilities are provided for the local community, including football, karate,bowls, snooker,pool, kick boxing, dancing, bingo, and flower arranging, etc. Many local organisations (like , Rugeley Stroke Club and Miners Memorial Society) use the premises.The Welfare Centre is at the heart of the local community.

We provide a wide range of activities & services for the people of the Bedwell area & the wider town to make the community centre a place where people are made to feel welcome. We rent rooms to pre school, dancing classes, childrens centre, churches, college courses, organisations & many more.

Merseyside Dance Initiative operates as the regional dance development agency for Merseyside in the North West of England.

Various Keep Fit classes, Tai Chi, Short Mat Bowls, Ladies Club, Ballroom dancing and afternoon Tea dances, Table Tennis, Fencing, Art and Crafts Club, Parent and Baby Group, Childrens tuition, dance classes and self defence classes. Weightwatchers & Slimming World groups, Bingo social and Members Bar with regular monthly entertainment.

Raise money to maintain the Hall through different activities. Regular users are Bowls, Community Council, Line Dancing, Circuits, Social Hub, Quiz nights and Singalongs. Facilities have been improved through funding from Brechfa Forest West Wind Farm Community Fund. The primary school regularly uses the facilities. We hold fundraising events such as fairs and Tribute Evenings.

The Rainbow Centre is a community centre for the Over 50s. We have about 20 different activities taking place throughout the week, which include Tai Chi, Art classes, sequence dancing, computer classes, short mat bowling etc. We operate a luncheon club and provide meals for luncheon clubs both at the Centre and in the community.

The society's object is to provide the means by which people may learn to perform music, act and dance and to entertain. The society supports other charities by performing concerts in and around the Redruth area but has also travelled to Scotland and Lancashire to support local charities there. The charity hires out its facilities for use by its members and those living in the local area. The institute building hosts such activities as line dancing and ballroom dancing as well as being available for private functions such as parties. The charity also has extensive sporting facilities and has teams which compete in various local leagues for football, cricket, tennis, pool, darts, snooker

The objectives of the charity are to provide education in Western and Indian classical music, dance, drama and fine arts in India, Britain and other parts of the world. The Trust raises funds to assist its sister trust, The Mathieson Music School in Kolkata, India. It provides teaching for children who are selected either because they are orphans or from the poorest of the poor.
