Arts Charities That specialise in Dance

The Charity manages the Goldington Reading and Recreation Rooms and its fabric for the benefit of the local community.They are used for a variety of purposes such as Irish dancing, Barn Dancing, Ballet, Whist Drive, Performing Arts, Childrens' birthday parties and other "life" events, Yoga, Slimming World, public meetings and as a Polling station.

To use the performing arts to empower children and young people to build up self confidence and self esteem by participating in public performances. An inclusive project, both for children who are able bodied and for children with learning difficulties and with minor to severe physical and learning disabilities where they learn to work in partnership and without discrimination.

To promote the education of young persons residing within the administrative counties of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan with a special interest and ability in ballet, by the provision of scholarships to attend the Northern Ballet School for the best boy and the best girl selected in any one year by the school to be capable of benefiting from such education.

Stainton Memorial Hall is a village hall which provides a venue for village organisations and societies/groups from a wider area. It also organises its own concerts, coffee mornings etc for fundraising and to improve the social life of the village. Village organisations inc: indoor bowls,exercise groups, dominoes, orchestra, dancing, art, sewing, womens institute, parish and community council, .

We organise an annual musical and drama festival in Carlisle. Entries are mainly from young people but there are classes for adults. Musical classes cover singing and instrumental playing. We are members of the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music Dance and Speech.

Line dancing, dog training, short mat bowls, yoga, art, West country embroidery, pilates, Oddfellows, town council meetings, Age Concern, social events.

To provide opportunities for social and sporting activities in the Stapenhill AreaWe provide varies activities for people of all ages including dance, sport, craft and many other things.

ABCA has active Tennis and Bowls sections, and there are also specific user groups, i.e. Scottish Dancing, WI, Snooker / Billiards, and TaeKwondo, Ukele band. The funds raised from letting cover most of the maintenance needs of the Parish Rooms. The Bowls and Tennis groups are self sufficient through their membership.

Provision of activities for adults with learning disabilities in City of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, namely weekly clubs for drama, dance and poetry. Residential visits, meals, theatre visits. All 500 old students receive newsletters, birthday and Christmas Cards.

Dance Competition for amateurs aged 21 years and under. Held annually in May at St Stephen, Cornwall.

We meet monthly and have a speaker and refreshments. At present we have 25 groups up and running varying from Traditional Dancing - Singing - Family History - Sunday outings and lunch this just a few. We have an open morning when all our activities are on display and this is open to members and non members to come in and see what we are all about also a Christmas social.

We are a charity based in Hastings, working to enable as many people as possible to engage in fun social dance activities. we are developing 4 strands: Wheelchair accessible dance for adults with learning difficulties, dance in care homes, free accessible family-friendly dance events, dance for those whose mental health makes it difficult to access local dance classes.

Holy Island Village Hall, AKA Crossman Hall. Building work completed, the premises are operating as a Community Hall providing for a range of activities for Islanders and visitors, such as education, fitness, art & music, entertainment & am dram and local celebrations and dancing etcetera., as a venue for village and church meetings, and other uses that befit our community.

Promotion of an annual Festivals of Music and Dance. A member of the British and International Federation of Musical Festivals. Provision of financial grants to selected competitors.

Our income is derived from hiring the Hall and Meeting Room for various local activities including Badminton, Carpet Bowls, Fitness, Martial Arts, Drama, Dance and Baby/Toddler groups. Whilst mainly a sports facility we also hire for private local children's parties and various activities in the Meeting Room.

Supply facilities for the art group, indoor bowls, dancing, keep fit, sewing, drama, sunday school, conferences and social gatherings.

The teaching and promotion of traditional Scottish Country dancing and music in the Cambridge and district area.

Warmington Village Hall used by the local Community for various activities ie Adult Education Classes, Indoor Bowling, Keep Fit classes, Toddler Group, Weddings, Funerals, Ballroom Dancing, parties, Council Elections and many other activites.

Provide facilities for various clubs, the majority of whose members are of pensionable age. These include Dance Exercise, Line Dancing, Tai Chi, Table Tennis, Indoor Bowls. Facilities available for non-members use.

We provide a hall for WI, guides, brownies, rainbows and the general public. Activities include a dance school, childrens parties, and various clubs. We cater for all ages. The hall is run by the trustees, together with representatives from the various organisations that use the hall.

To advance the education of the public in the art of dance. To hold and promote an annual competitive festival and to present and promote public performances. We promote competitive dancing in a safe and friendly environment allowing individuals and groups alike to showcase their talents regardless of age and ability. We are affiliated to the British & International Federation of Festivals.
