Hambrook Village Hall serves as a valuable community facility, open to residents of Hambrook, Bristol and the surrounding areas. The hall is available for a variety of uses, including indoor sports and fitness training, music band rehearsals, charity and society meetings, dance classes, church congregations, children's parties, and family gatherings.

Music Matters North East aims to raise funds and in-kind donations for the promotion of arts, particularly the arts of music, poetry, drama and dance for the public benefit in North East England. We will do this through the provision of community based interactive workshops in areas where public access to these arts is limited by geography, financial means or other restrictions.

The charity provides facilities for various charitable groups including football teams, drama group, model aircraft group, mother and baby group, line dancing and pigeon clubs. The facilities can also be hired out by the club's members for private functions and meetings etc.

The funding raised is used to support the Dancers of O'Hehir School of Irish dance, a dance school in the north east of England in a socially deprived region. Dancers require help with footwear, class fees, transportation costs to major competitions etc. The funds are also used for community events to bring pupils/families together to enjoy events such as pantomime trips & parties etc..

The charity is:-a village hall for use of all villagers and run by a committee. We have club meetings for toddlers, children, youth, old folk and for the village in general. Regular functions; Pilates, dance classes, old peoples club, general village lunches, dances, parties, whist, W.I. and hire to the Parish Council for meetings and polling station, etc.

The charity runs a community centre in Brown Edge, providing accommodation for several groups from the area. The premises are accessible and are suitable for all age groups. There are exercise, dancing and Slimming World classes; a large hall, stage and small meeting room are available to hire for events and outdoor space includes two sensory gardens.

The Trust is giving families the opportunity to get together at a weekend away in May. The Trust has a closed group on Facebook providing an excellent way for parents to share worries and experiences. The parents on the committee have contact with a group in the US.The 9th International workshop on Dancing Eye Syndrome was held in March 2018.

THE ORGANISATION AND PROMOTION OF ETHNO-TOURISM AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROJECTS TO INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES SO AS TO HARNESS THE ECONOMIC POTENTIAL OF THEIR TRADITIONAL CULTURE.

Cantus Firmus Trust provides support and training in the use of creative arts (music, dance, drama) for use in Christian worship and ministry, and presents themed events containing some or all of these elements. The expanding Cantus Firmus choir supports events and activities in North Essex and Suffolk.
