Arts Charities That specialise in Dance

A rural charity for young people aged between 10-26 years, where they can learn new rural skills and achieve confidence through public speaking competitions, stockjudging and running their own club and fundraising for themselves and the local community. Members also learn to participate in team events such as sports, drama and entertainments, choir and dancing. This is a member led organisation.

Horizon Performing Arts is an organisation based in the Warrington area. The Performance Group consists of:The Horizon Corps, Horizon Percussion Ensemble, Horizon Brass Ensemble, Horizon Winterguard - we teach members aged eight and above to play chosen musical equipment from a wide range of instrumentation and the opportunity to learn dance and movement.

The preservation and promotion of art, culture and literature through workshops in classical temple music and dance, a handicraft project as part of a rehabilitation programme for homeless women, maintenance of archives and a library of relevant literature and an agricultural arts project. SAT works in conjunction with an Indian charitable trust.

A rural youth movement for 10-26yrs. Members can gain confidence and recognised skills in Public Speaking, Drama and Entertainments, Sports Competitions, Stock-Judging and Cattle showing/presentation, Duke of Edingburgh, Dancing, Meetings and Social Events.

Regular family fundays. Discos for teenagers/adults. Trip to theme park. 4 day playscheme during summer holidays. Provide information packs for new parents. Monthly support group meetings. Xmas parties. Fundraising dance. Picnics during summer holidays.

We raise money through Concerts, Balls and shows to raise money to assist children in financial difficulty to access music/dance tuition.

We work primarily with older people in Islington to improve social interaction, confidence, self-esteem, physical health and mental agility by providing Ballroom, Latin and other dance sessions in which people dance with a partner.

We serve the community by developing transcultural and trans generational activities such as Bollywood Dance classes, Vedic classes for children, religious (Puja) prayers, awareness programmes of Hindu heritage directed towards children and other communities. Annual Diwali and Holi Celebrations.In the COVID-19 scenario worked with elderly and vulnerable sections of the society.

Our main objective is to inspire children to explore their creativity through Arts workshop ie drawing, painting, drama, dancing, music tuition and performance. We work with children who live in extreme poverty here in the UK and all over Africa.

Provision of facilities for children and adults to be taught and take part in dance and drama

The trust awards scholarships to students training in the performing arts with exceptional talent but insufficient financial means on the recommendation of the establishments with which the trust has an arrangement, namely The Royal College of Music, Purcell School, London Studio Centre and Central Ballet School of Ballet & RADA.

Members meet 3 times weekly at the Weston Favell Community Hall for social gathering and activities such as card games, dancing, table tennis, health and safety and culture activities. The club also organise events like Chinese New Year, Mid-autumn Festival and Christmas celebration.Activities are open to people in Northampton who are interested in our activities.

To promote social inclusion for people with a learning disability by providing facilities for dance classes, dance groups, recreation and public performances, with the objective of improving their social and communication skills, increasing their confidence and self-esteem and improving their physical and mental health.

Provides resources to enable teaching Welsh folk dance.Organises festivals of Welsh folk dance for children.Teaches Welsh folk dance to those wishing to teach children.

We provide funds to help the school and organise fun activities for children and parents, eg Christmas bazaar, barn dance, sports day bbq etc. We fundraise by means of these events and also sponsored events.

The NKFC supports children's education including traditional dance, music and cultural heritage in Cambodia. It raises funds in the UK to support both the Sacret Dancers and the NKFC Conservatoire - Dance and Music school in rural Cambodia (Banteay Srei). This actively furthers understanding of Cambodia's tangible and intangible heritage.
