The village hall serves a mainly rural community. Currently a mens club, WI, gardening club, pre-school, carpet bowls, whist drives, bingo sessions, film nights, singing group; the hall is also used for monthly coffee mornings, quizzes, parish council monthly meetings and for various church functions. There is an annual pantomime and occasional village celebrations.

The Capricorn Singers is a ladies voice choir based in Cleveleys, Lancashire. Membership is open to any female person aged 18 or over. We sing all types of music including pop and rock, musical theatre, film soundtracks, and easy-listening. We perform all over the Fylde Coast - entertaining people, promoting a sense of community, and raising money for charities.

Village Hall providing a meeting place for community activities. Used by groups such as W.I., Senior Citizens' Club, Lunch Club, Parish Council, as well as for activities such as dance, karate, yoga and dog training classes, quizzes etc. Facility for social fundraising functions such as dances, fetes, film and quiz nights. For hire as a venue for weddings, parties and similar functions.

The Charity addressed its aims and objective by completing the Re-enchantment. A 3 year exploration of the importance of place in our lives through the commissioning of a series of artworks: a book, a film, a site specific performance work and a conceptual artwork. This project was funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Arts Council England, the British Film Institute and Creative England.

Fundraising to benefit the pupils of the Richmond School, Skegness. Events include discos, June Day Jaunt, Christmas Fair, film nights, bingo and more.

The Charity operates in Upper Weardale, Co. Durham. It provides a venue for use by the whole community and includes various regular activities including Bowls, Keep Fit, Drama performances, Dance, facilities for birthday parties and weddings and also venues for Church Bazaars etc. There is a bi-monthly cinema club and a Community Fitness Suite.

The advancement of the education of the public in the knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the arts, particularly the art of film and allied visual techniques.

Our goal is to create positive outcomes through the engaging platforms of film and media. Although our focus is on young people, we also engage with all age groups.Our current project - Limelight Film Awards is the annual short film awards ceremony, attended by over 500 film makers, identifying and promoting emerging film talent.

Madley Brook PTA work to advance the education of pupils at Madley Brook School and develop effective relationships between staff and parents. We engage in a wide range of fundraising activities including family discos, film nights, Christmas and Easter activities. We fund educational activities and equipment for the benefit of pupils at the school.

Runs publicly-accessible museum of World War II artefacts, based on gun battery site in Brixham, plus related drama,film,archive,re-,restoration activities involving local community.

ORGANISATION OF EVENTS FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES OF WINCHAM SCHOOL, eg: SUMMER FAYRE, SCHOOL DISCOS, QUIZ NIGHTS, BAGS TO SCHOOL, CALENDARS, CINEMA AFTERNOONS & WEBB IVORY.

Activities to promote the use and awareness of Indian tribal languages and culture. Entering into partnerships. The production and use of tribal animation films, websites, multimedia DVDs, publication, exhibitions. Encouraging collaboration with archive collections. Encouraging mutual appreciation of traditions between Indian tribal peoples and other ethnic minority groups.

We choose films which are popular and we believe to be good quality for adults and children. Screenings are held on Friday afternoons and evenings for adults. Children's films are shown in mornings during holiday periods. Refreshments are included in the ticket price for matinees. There is a bar at evening performances. Screenings are at the Atrium in North Walsham High School.

Horwich Heritage has 150 members and runs a Heritage Centre which is open 6 days a week. It runs a full programme of talks, walks, trips and produces its own publications, films and exhibitions. Through its wide ranging programme of activities it supports all the local Primary Schools and local people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities with information about local history and heritage.

We organise social activities to raise funds for the school. The events typically include the Summer Fair, Community Cinema, Teddy Bears Picnic, Garden Fun Run, Beetle Drive and a Family Bingo.

To promote skills and career development in young film makers with particular emphasis on women film makers

The Zilberman Film Foundation is set to give spotlight to the next generation of filmmaking. It aims to encourage and showcase new work and to nurture and support emerging new film and television talent.

HOEF is current working with two village schools in Ghana, we are providing them with computers, books and paying the school fees for 20 orphans. We intend to start an awareness program in second cycle schools by showing films about aids, Christianity, gang culture and many more to help them have a better future. We hope to set up computer training centers to help the under privilege.

PTA holds fetes, balls, quiz evenings, raffles , BBQs, film club

Staxton Village is the non profit making village hall in Staxton & Wilerby, where community activities for all age groups can take part. the hall is for anyone to hire for community activities. We have regular old time dancing for the retired, and we provide a monthly two course lunch, and a monthly film show. The hall is maintained to a very high level and is admired by all visitors.
