General fundraising activities such as discos, cake sales, Secret Mothers Day and Fathers Day sales, Film nights Christmas Fayres, Ladies Night and BBQ`s etc to raise funds to purchase educational items for the school. So far these have been book corners for all classrooms with child friendly seating and carpets and a new library, outside stage and portable inside stage.

Fundraising through events to raise money in turn to be donated to Holbrook Primary School towards improving the learning environment for all children. we have music evenings,sponsored walks , film evenings,awareness raising talks, 3 peak walks, comedy evenings.this month we are having a cross bay sponsored walk across Morecambe Bay. we are also having a showing of our film Abandon the Knife and question and answer session afterwards. Early this year we had a music evening .We are having leaflets made to encourage people to donate .

Moving Image shows a wide range of independent and mainstream films, from recent releases to timeless classics and occasional has afternoon screenings for children.. The cinema is non-profit making and run entirely by volunteers. There are regular screenings in the community centre, MI has taken films to numerous community events in Wivenhoe and the surrounding area.

Our Charity is dedicated to advancing education in the art, life and times of Edward Alfred (Ted) Lewis, more particularly known for being the author of the gangster film, Get Carter, and securing the reputation of becoming Father of British Noir. We hold a national archive of his work, art and ancillary objects and records in a Centre in Lewis's home town of Barton upon Humber in Lincolnshire.

Village hall meeting place for various groups - eg - Book Club, Village Lottery, Table Tennis, Pool Club, Whist Drive, Plant Sale. Afrolatino works with African and Asian refugees and asylum seekers in Leeds to promote confidence and bring about social change. We do this by organising social activities, both educational and creative, to assist community members to integrate into life in Leeds, and reduce isolation.Afrolatino runs regular activities such as music and film production training for young people.

Management of St John's Old School Hall for the benefit of the church community and the wider community. Uses for meetings , youth groups ,free drop in coffee afternoon twice monthly , lunches and ecumenical worship for those unable to gain access to a church, film club. private functions. Occasional craft workshops and other social gatherings. Available for hire.

The PTA's activities include fundraising through organising events such as Christmas fair, Christmas card production, Summer fair, coffee mornings, quiz night, bingo & a May ball. The Burland Parish Hall, granted charity status in 1915, provides a focal point in the small Cotswold village of Stanton, funded entirely by lettings and local support it provides a venue for Church activities, childrens activities, art and education, parish meeting room, rural cinema, charity functions, parties and celebrations, polling station, etc.

All Saints PTFA is a charity that has a variety of activities including providing extracurricular activities at the school such as discos, film nights, doughnut days, a Christmas market and Summer fayre. The PTFA will fundraise through various sources through the year, to support the school in providing enrichment for all of the children that attend.

The Leisure Support Group is a voluntary organisation the promotes independence, choice & dignity to adults with a learning disability. The aim of the group is to access local community facilities ie bowling, cinema, meals out, sports & social gatherings.
