The Centre@Cantley operates mainly as Cantley Community Library providing the loan of books, DVDs for the community along with a suite of computers for the public to use. We provide photocopying, printing and scanning.We provide childrens activities in the school holidays, run a weekly 'Knit & Natter session and have received grants to enable us to run 'Tea & Tech' sessions for the elderly.

Raising funds for the School through Christmas bazaar, summer fete, quiz night and including smaller events such as book sales.

HVA's purpose is to improve the life of its inhabitants. In furtherance of this, events are held including the village fete; the village dance; the village pantomime; a quiz evening and a childrens Christmas party. Hartwell Community Centre offers residents the opportunity to book the facilities for personal events such as birthday celebrations and other parties. It also offers an ideal location for the various user groups which currently include PreSchool Playgroup, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, WI, Tuesday Circle over 60s club, Hartwell Parish Council & Youth Club

The Flag Institute is a forum to research a and inform about Vexillology (the Study of Flags). It does this by way of public meetings, scholarly publications and archiving of authoritative flag information from around the world. It helps communities design new flags maintains the UK local flag register and advises HM Government, national and international organizations on flags and flag protocol.

We are an Associate Library completely run by volunteers. We have a number of activities ie a knit and natter group, a golden oldie coffee morning, toddlers story time, a mental health group and a Russian speaking group who all have weekly meetings in the library.

Raise money for the school by holding events and activities, such as; Christmas and Summer fairs, childrens discos, a disco for parents, cake sales, and a quiz and pudding night. The Trustees assist people in pursuit of education. Grants are awarded towards the cost of university & college fees, books and materials, courses for students with special educational needs, school trips, music & dancing lessons, etc. Applicants must be resident within the 5 parishes of Kingstone, Thruxton, Allensmore, Eaton Bishop & Clehonger.

We promote research, discussion, field studies, talks, publications, exhibitions, and other activities relating to the local history of the village and parish of Aldbourne and to further the education of the public of all ages in these respects. As part of this effort we manage the Aldbourne Heritage Centre.

We have a residential facility in the forest area near Cropton in N. Yorkshire with self-catering accommodation for 26 people in a mixture of dormitories and double rooms. We allow groups of young people accompanied by responsible adults to book the facility for educational purposes and as such we are attached, but independent of, Driffield School in Driffield, East Yorkshire.

To advance the Christian religion within Blyth, Northumberland and in other such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as charity trustees may from time to time deem fit, for the benefit of the public through the holding of prayer meetings, religious education, seminars and conferences, pastoral care and/or distributing literature on Christianity to enlighten others about the Christian religion
