TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN FAITH IN THE WORLD FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF PRAYER MEETINGS, LECTURES, EVENTS, BROADCASTING , PRODUCING AND DISTRIBUTING LITERATURE ON THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, HENCE ENLIGHTENING THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION

The Society promotes the study and creation of British bookplates (ex-libris) through its journal, newsletter, books, occasional exhibitions and its website including listing artists willing to accept commissions. It also supports interest in the fields of graphic and book art, bibliography, heraldry and family history, and provides information about, and helps identify, British bookplates.

Provides a community facility for the residents of the village and surrounding areas. The Hall is used for weekly keep fit sessions, book club, scabble club and a youth club. The Hall is used for Parish Meetings and as a Polling station. The Charity raises money for the the maintenance, refurbishment and upkeep of this historic thatched building.

Throughout the year activities have included; book fairs; christmas cards; shopping evening; christmas fair; coffee afternoons; summer fair; pint pot jamboree; chocolate bouquet raffle; school discos and bingo night. All these fund raising activities directly benefits the children in school.

The Society initiates and supports Village projects relating to Heritage, Environment and Community. It also comments on planning issues, publishes books of local interest, holds 11 meetings each year for education or entertainment & publishes monthly newsletters. It awards grants for projects that will benefit the Village and presents Civic Pride Awards each year to individuals and groups.

Education of the public on the life, work and writings of Augustus Welby Pugin and his influence, and that of other architects in his family, on the Gothic Revival. The publication of an academic journal, annual newsletter and books and organising study tours, talks and events, and maintaining a website.

We hold many regular events throughout the year to raise funds. These include, but is not exclusive to, a Christmas Fayre, Mother's & Father's Day shops, Summer BBQ, Easter Egg Hunt, Discos, running an afterschool book and tuck shop and family evening events. The biggest event we run each year is the September Family Fun Day which the whole community is invited to.

The principal activities of the educational charitable trust are to maintain Gilbert White's House & Garden in Selborne, with associated Field Studies Centre, as a visitor attraction & Accredited museum. We engage with people of all ages & abilities to promote enjoyment & exploration of our heritage through our exhibitions, collections, learning & education programme, outreach & access policies.

We manage the local library and supply facilities and services that help the local community

Weekly Kent Talking Newspapers for the Herne Bay Area and a KAB monthly talking magazine, 'Blind to Blind' and Partially sighted people in the Community.Herne Bay identity for young people, illness, elderly, to engage in local events. Provide with experience and training in broadcasting and media skills, promoting education in employment opportunities, and public address services at local events.

We raise funds to assist in purchasing items for Sutton-on-Trent Primary School which are not normally provided by the Local Authority. Such as books, equipment for subjects, play equipment for sports and the playground, educational trips, IT equipment and training courses for the children.

Funding the purchase of books for primary schools in Eltham

(a) School Literacy Programmes: This is an education initiative for disadvantaged schools and children to improve their literacy skills in reading and writing. (b) Every Child Matters Programme: A back to school Programme for children out of education. (c) Library provision for under resourced schools. (d) Safeguarding and Child Protection Training for adults in the communities we serve.

We are the Friends of Windlesham Village Infant School. It is our mission to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering our families and community to support our school.We fundraise in order to enable to the school to purchase key learning resources, equipment, software, books, play and sports equipment and to help facilities enhancements.

The Society's New Series publications cover aspects of Westcountry political, social, religious, economic and maritime history. The Society publishes an annual volume which is sent to members on publication. Non-members may also purchase volumes. The Society's Collection of source material, mainly transcriptions of parish registers, is held at the Devon Heritage Centre for public use.

Gathering and sharing information on the local history of Brecknockshire Assisting Brecknockshire Museum and publishing an erudite journal annually

We provide children with dyslexia and other literacy difficulties, specialist literacy tuition, taught by qualified dyslexia teachers. We work in schools in North West London and the surrounding areas. Our aim is to ensure children develop their reading ability so that they can access the curriculum, through fun, multi-sensory lessons.

FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE LEARNING FOR PLEASURE BY PEOPLE NO LONGER IN FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT THROUGH THE CONTINUED

ARC is an umbrella body for members of religious communities in the Church of England. We hold a conference once every 2 years in person and the other year online , circulate a newsletter twice a year to all members, maintain a digital Year Book online and answer enquiries from the general public. We assist with promoting the life of Religious in the Church of England.

The Iran Society was established to advance education in the subject of Iran, its peoples and culture, in particular through the study of language, literature, art, history, religions, antiquities, usages, institutions and customs of Iran. It does this by holding lectures approximately 8 times a year, in London, on topics deemed of interest to members, and by awarding grants to students of Persian

The objects of the Museum are to educate the public in the history of the Berkshire Yeomanry by public exhibition and management of the Museum's Collection by upholding the Regiment's traditions by maintaining Regimental memorials and by issuing publications such as journals and newsletters relating to the Regiment

Education of the public in the historic landscapes and gardens in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Assisting owners of such landscapes with advice on maintenance and restoration. Research and publications in historic landscape.

Collects, catalogues and describes items of memorabilia that are put in boxes of about 10 items. Memory Boxes are distributed on loan to Nursing Homes, Care Homes, Day Centres and Hospitals for use in Reminiscence Therapy for the elderly and those with memory loss. We operate throughout Dorset and slightly venture into East Devon, South Somerset and Wiltshire. We offer talks.

The village hall provides a refurbished premise for local community use and hire. Our local organisations which includes the WI, short mat bowling, keep fit,book club , yoga, quilters,dowsing group and reading group, amateur dramatics and village lunches etc meet regularly on a weekly or monthly basis. Occasionally parties and funeral/ anniversary teas are catered for.
