Arts Charities That specialise in Literature

FAST helps marginalised people develop life, digital & employability skills, address issues they face and improve their, and their families', health. We are available for all but particularly support those with seen/unseen disabilities and from communities experiencing racial and other inequalities. We achieve this through Employability, Citizenship, Literacy, Digital and other training & support.

Our charity exists to promote the use of the Community Library not only for traditional library use but to expand the out of hours use. The building and grounds are available to be enjoyed by all. We have volunteer gardeners and the indoor space is used by U3A groups, two Book Clubs and a volunteer led hearing aid clinic. Activities for young children are held during the main school holidays.

The activities of the ecclesia are to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Christadelphian statement of faith, for the benefit of the public, through the holding of meetings for worship, prayer and the preaching of the gospel, providing religious teaching and publications, the promotion of charitable works and the provision of pastoral care.

On a regular basis at MSF:a) We run an After School Homework Club i.e. a Homework club to support underachieving school children in literacy, numeracy and scienceb) We run a Job Club to develop employability skills and opportunities among young peoplec) We run a Walk-in Centre to provide support, advice and advocacy for disadvantaged and disengaged young peopled) We run Multi Sports Club

Community Outreach and Education- Our charity organization offer educational programs, including literacy classes, job training and life skills workshops aimed at empowering individuals and improving their life.Providing food and Shelter- An important activity we offer is that we provide shelter to support the homeless, by ensuring they have access to nutritious meals and a safe place to sleep

To give grants to young people and schools to assist with purchase of books and equipment etc. in the parishes of Peterchurch and Clifford, Herefordshire only.

Provide much-needed educational books for prisoners

The PTFA organises social events for parents, children and friends of Hermitage Primary School. Funds raised are used to purchase equipment for drama, IT, sports and the library in the school.

We raise funds through events such as fairs and game nights to enhance the children's school experience. Purchases so far have included new sports equipment, books and laptops.

We provide a service, including various activities and use of Village Hall for the residents of Langton Matravers. We have also built up a small library where refreshments are served, it is open twice a month for two hours.

Disability in Action is a forward thinking organisation which provides serviecs for disabled people, and is run by disabled people.We work at Queenscross Network in Wellington Road Dudley.The Service we currently run from there are, a cafe service,library,a reception and some enjoyable theraputic activities.Disability in Action could make a difference to your Life come and meet us .

To purchase and provide books, periodicals, maps and specimens of art and science for any library provided and maintained by the library authority, for the urban district of Nantwich.

CFOR facilitates, provides trainings and makes publications within the UK, Europe and internationally, to increase awareness about diversity and dynamics of conflict.
